Doom Eternal is a somewhat controversial entry in the series compared to it's predecessor due to the denuvo scandal, it's parkour like sections in the game, Mick Gordon's soundtrack being nerfed and the fallout it created and of course it's art style being a lot less dark and gritty compared to doom 2016.

The array of new and old enemies, the new abilities of the Doom slayer, the human npc's reaction to the Doom slayer, and just the amazing visuals and soundtrack. Doom Eternal stands out as a fun fast paced game about slaying demons and making your way from the Ravaged earth to the centre of Mars and then back to Earth for one final boss! (Not forgetting the dlc either a must get as well).

I think the only other downside I noticed is that the game feels a lot harder compared to Doom, trying to scavenge for health and armor gives the feeling that the game wants you to only use to weapons to finish the demons off by ripping them apart (which looks and feels amazing I literally moved forwards in my chair when taking down a demon with a melee kill) but raises up the difficulty since you've sometimes got to dash across the map to get to it. Which brings me to the next thing KEEP MOVING do not stand still this game is about fast pace moving and picking off your target, so keep that in mind while slaying do not camp in a corner hoping to take more out because they will take you out!

There is much more to talk about this game from the character skins to the ability upgrades but I'd say just get the game and experience it yourself!

and of course RIP AND TEAR UNTIL IT IS DONE!

Excellent revive of an older series!

Doom 2016 is one of the must plays of the modern generation of gaming, gory , fast paced and hella fun!
Soundtrack is loud, dark and on point for the series so definitely pay attention to it while playing the game, upgrades come in frequently for your doomslayer to keep the game fresh and fun!

The game start with the doom slayer waking up with only a pistol and your fist, this will eventually all branch out to a whole arsenal that can be used to destroy an array of enemies you'll discover through your story to eventually have a gun called the BFG that is extremely fun to use!

The only downside is that some level progression might be unclear and can get you stuck, on the other hand the game encourages exploration with hidden rooms, collectables and even some bonus loot to use to get through the level with extra gear so definitely a big plus to compensate for the one downside I felt for this game.

I'd say if you're unsure to get it just get it!

Half life 2 Episode 2 is the (for now) last episode. I loved playing through the half life games again and this was a great way to end it. from black mesa in half life to white forest in episode 2 it was a ride I would recommend to everyone.

Pro's
-Amazing Visuals and sound
-Excellent voice acting I barely bond with characters usually but valve was able to make me do it
-New enemies every single game and I loved them all
-Quite a bit less of AI escorting, and if there was it was a lot better than episode 1
-A challenge in map design and enemies extremely refreshing after all the hand holding we had in newer games

Con's
-The occasional glitches nothing game breaking.
-Ended with a cliffhanger (there is hope to more since HL Alyx came out)

And that is the final episode of the half life series (for now). If you have a VR headset DO get HL Alyx, If you don't have a VR headset and are not planning to get one watch a playthrough of HL Alyx, you won't regret it. And if you're still on the fence to get this game DO GET IT YOU'LL LOVE IT.

Half life 2 episode 1 is the sequel episode to Half life 2 and set after the events of the previous game. The game takes Gordon and Alyx on a mission to escape the city, during the mission they find some intel that needs to be brought to Eli and Kleiner, so they can find out what the combine are up to after the devastating events of half life 2.

Pro's
-Excellent Voice Acting
-Excellent Sound Design
-Excellent Visuals
-Challenging Enemies
-Amazing atmosphere

Cons
-Some minor glitches
-AI that can get in the way
-Being depended on Alyx tend to slow the game down

On a last note this game is the shortest of the bunch in term of chapters but tends to be slown down by Alyx and the final escort mission. Even Alyx remarks "This was easy we should've brought everyone at the same time" before having to go back multiple times feeling like the game gets stretched out even more without any reason.

Still I do recommend the game for the fun gunplay and the narrative it's telling.

Half life was basically the reason I got Steam more than 10 years ago. it's ragdoll and environment physics were revolutionary for it's time. the gameplay is amazing and the map design is great but can be confusing every once in a while. Which is refreshing in a time were games hold your hand every step of the way.

Pro's
-Excellent graphics for it's time
-Amazing maps and atmosphere
-Enemies are a bit of a challenge
-A wide array of different enemies
-Excellent voice acting

Con's
-AI can either walk in your way or push you into enemies.
-You can get stuck every once in a while due to glitches usually caused by the player trying to move to fast (Beach Section and Portal near the end of the game

I can recommend this game for people that want to try half life for the first time after hearing about half life Alyx or veteran players revisiting after many years.

Black Mesa is a remake of the original Half Life game, That after years of development and a giant overhaul of the endgame has been completed!

Aside from some non game breaking bugs and some moments where you can get stuck quite easily by not knowing where to go, I genuinely loved the game. The enemies were no pushovers, The level design is great knowing they were designed in the 90s and Xen got an amazing overhaul (which was a bit to lengthy with an overabundance of rope puzzles.) but I loved either way.

Pro's
-Amazing Graphics.
-A wide array of Enemies to fight.
-Great level design especially knowing the original era it was developed in.
-Music is something you'd listen outside of the game.
-Enemies are a challenge.
-Not many bugs

Cons
-Some enemies are a bit to hard on normal difficulty (Looking at you HECU).
-Can get lost every once in a while.
-To many cable puzzles(XEN!)

Overall I can truly recommend this game and I hope others will have as much fun with it as I did!

Fallout 4's next gen patch is underwhelming but surprisingly useful. with a bunch of performance fixes and added content the game feels to me in a much more playable state. hopefully the developers will give this game a few more updates for further stability.

OLD REVIEW
WARNING This game has a horrendously outdated engine and hasn't received a useful patch in a looooooooong time. will run like feral ghoul missing it's legs even on the most powerful systems.
now that that is out of the way

Fallout 4 is a game with a neat story in your first playthrough but something you would like to skip and ignore in the next one. unfortunately it drags you right back in constantly because you "have to save your son". Besides that and the game running like that feral ghoul I was talking about earlier the game is just good ol fallout fun with it's excellent humour and fun locations and stories inside the wasteland. and in that case I WOULD RECOMMEND IT. but over the years we've noticed a couple of things.

1.The game is a console port won't go over 60fps without the physics going haywire (HAS BEEN FIXED IN FO76 THAT STILL RUNS ON THE SAME ENGINE)
2.The only updates it gets is to squeeze money out of you with the whole Bethesda creator club thingy.
3.You like the DLC? tough luck it will make the loading times dreadful. base game they say is fine but the overall great and fun DLC you'll have to skip even on an nvme SSD (Trust me I tried and after a while the save become to much for this cranky engine it will let you wait a good minute TO GET OUT OF A BUILDING).

I wouldn't recommend the game for anyone right now until bethesda or any modder (Because the modders have a better track record of fixing bethesda games better than bethesda itself) does the following

1. Fix the FPS Physics link (Has been done by mods can still bug a tiny bit)
2. Fix the lag in the city (Has been done by a mod that is 2GB)
3. Fix the loading times this has been the case for years.

For now I heard you can better play it on the console versions so no DO NOT GET IT ON PC.

WARNING this game is powered by the ubisoft launcher and will force you to make a ubisoft account to link the game to and play.
Now that that is out of the way.

Uno is just Uno you play with your friends and maybe lose some over it. In the past couple of months ubisoft has been working on an overhaul of their launcher and that has made it easier to invite other players (even if the servers can go down). what I haven't seen from the game are bugfixes like if you have to many cards in your hand for example I had 1 yellow card and a ton of other coloured cards, I wasn't able to select the yellow card at all (so basically skipping my turn).
and sometimes the game won't let you say uno before dropping the last card or correcting another player who forgot to say it. OH and the bots cheat they know your cards and help each other out even when not in a team.

But overall when it works it's good fun especially in these times where we can't visit each other.

WARNING. this game is almost 11 years old it might not run smoothly on your pc and or have some visual glitches. (fps can only go to 80 fps)
Now that that is out of the way.
Lego star wars the complete saga is a mix of 2 of my childhood games I used to play on my PS2. Lego star wars and the original trilogy. it's just classic fun and great gameplay, the visuals held up a bit even though you notice that the game has aged. It was also easy to get into again with steam, my ps4 controller just worked with the game and aside some fps drops every once in a while (which is normal for a game that is on the older side) I had a great experience of reliving my childhood (review might be nostalgia fueled but who cares).

Do get this game and I'm looking forward what it's successor Lego star wars the skywalker saga will bring.

Portal is simply one of the best games ever made with an excellent successor and story that lingers in the background waiting to be told. the gameplay is straightforward, the puzzles are great. and it became a yearly tradition for me to play ever since the game came out. (not always legally unfortunatly) it was a game ahead of it's time.
