A good story, with some great interpretations of Lovecraft lore. Combat is fine, people complain but its grand. Some bugs throughout that can stop you completing some quests but I did enjoy it even with all its faults.

An amazing, weird, wonderful descent into brilliance. A living breathing twisting novel full of eccentric characters, nasty ne'er do wells, and a shambolic bumbling cop.

I really loved this game, though I felt a bit let down by the ending. It is very visually stunning, the art style is fantastic and it is an overall immersive experience. The narrative really draws you in and you do really care for the characters throughout for most of the game. The dialogue and voice acting is great, and really builds a sense of comradery between the characters through the spoken interactions alone.

I feel the overall narrative structure falls apart towards the end, and lots of promising elements are never satisfactorily resolved, or dealt with. However, it is well worth playing; it's different, it's interesting, and it's enjoyable.

AMazing game. Very siple but utterly addictive. Missing a few little things that would really improve it; like music and SFX but it is coming. A simple mechanic and set of rules that quicly build to something complex and compelling.

A brilliant game, I am totally hooked. I havent gone near CIV: BE since getting it. I got my ass handed to me and tried again. It looks and plays fantastically. A few bugs pop-up now and again (save errors etc). But the game is such a joy to play that I don't mind them. The combat is good and you can automate it or go through fights manually. The diplomacy needs to be unlocked with researc. I was initally annoyed at that but it makes sense as you dont have to go near it if you want a war/aggressive victory.

I have yet to really get stuck in (large map, slow pace, hard AI etc), but the fast and easy way I have been playing is great for getting to grips with it.
