Sony has made the spontaneous change of requiring a Playstation Network (PSN) account/Sony account to sign-in and play the game after the game has been released for months.

I have purchased the Super Citizen Edition and wish I could get a refund because I did not agree to sign-up for this data-mining service to be added on. I don't even own a Playstation- they just want to track/use your user data so they can get another Playstation Network data breach.

All goodwill and trust for this game has been utterly destroyed with this change that I'm sure most of the devs probably wouldn't have wanted but management forced. This is practically spyware at this point that you PAID to use for what initially was just a fun game to play with friends. Sony you have gotten super greedy trying to inflate your Playstation Network logins. Cross-play is not real with predatory practices like this.

Boycott this game and don't buy it while they require another form of DRM to login. If the PSN is ever down or shuts down- this game is dead. Absolutely tragic because there was so much potential for this game.

edit* they also locked the thread announcing the change on 5/3: https://steamcommunity.com/app/553850/eventcomments/4357872384977255720/

Actual scumbags suppressing free speech.

NOT VERY DEMOCRATIC OF YOU, SONY.

GOAT game.

Perfectly balanced/RNG'd. Tons of replayability. Addictive.

This is the perfect game. Even has Steam Workshop for mods- this is one of the best games ever made.

Early Access Review
The splash art does not do this game justice. Surprisingly there is a lot of customization and unlockables in the game. Tons of things to grind and comparable with Vampire Survivors in terms of gameplay. Overall feels really good to play and lots of replayability. There are some minor bugs but as an early access game, it's looking pretty good. I would say that the requirement of reaching lvl 50 with certain books is a bit much to unlock the second-form of the books. I would recommend if you're itching for more VS-alternatives.

Early Access Review
I was expecting to like this as I really like pachinko as a genre and roguelikes but this game fell flat for me. The price of this game ( normally $20) of over $5 is way too high for the gameplay of this game and eventually why I did a refund after playing for a short period.

It's kinda boring in which it doesn't feel like a good pachinko game. The idea of the game is really cool- but the actual gameplay is very one-note. The ball types you get don't really change the overall feel of the game with their effects/impacts on the round. I don't feel any growth or progression outside of a variety of ball-types and leveling these balls effects.

I feel like the "pachinko" aspect isn't really the highlight as it tries to adapt a pinball-like physics when interacting with the pegs/stages. The RNG of physics doesn't feel heavy. Everything is a bit too bouncy imo and there's no real weight behind the ball you shoot- maybe for the best player-wise to get more pegs but it doesn't feel like pachinko outside of the way the game is framed.

I'm sure this hits for a certain audience as this game is generally well reviewed- but I really didn't care for this as a pachinko game nor as a roguelike. Maybe it's the graphic style or overall physics- but nothing hit despite being on my wishlist for a long time thinking that this game looked interesting.

Fun and innovative take on the survivor-like genre. Lots of builds and variety and constant updates. Well worth the price.

All proceeds of this game ARE CURRENTLY going to the war victims in Ukraine.

This is history in the making. A wonderful game with a wonderful studio doing a good deed.

Your daily reminder that Nicalis, Inc. is a really corrupt and abusive publisher that abused the Cave Story's developer's trust and took the whole IP away from him.

Mild thumbs up. The game doesn't get many updates but it's the PERFECT ROGUE-LITE FOR CASUAL PLAYERS. Seriously, a great introduction that isn't super hardcore or RNG reliant.

The aesthetic and design of everything is very cute and approachable. A breath of fresh air compared to most games. A fair variety of playstyles and characters, fun weapons, and constant progression after every run. Did I mention you can get pets during a run that have a bunch of handy passive effects? And you can get duplicates of these pets!

It's very casual with runs lasting as short or as long as you want and you can play with a friend- which is super nice for casual co-op.

The RNG is pretty balanced and won't make or break your game. You have plenty of health and drops that require you to still want to evade and skillfully attack. There's lots of fun weapon interactions with the passive upgrades as well. There is some grind if you want to unlock/max a character but it gives you something to work towards. Also the final boss at the end of the run does provide challenge and is perfect for casuals and hardcore players. It's do-able even for someone like me who doesn't want to try too hard (you'll probably need to grind out some of the game before beating your first time).

I haven't faced any bugs but the main thing I'd love is for some word on updates or more features.

It's a really good game that's slept on. Would recommend to purchase on sale.

This legendary piece of emulation software is now available on Steam. One of the best ways to play your console classics and ROMs in a centralized software. Constant growing updates with the magic of Remote Play and invite other people from your Steam's friend list to play games you have locally.

Absolutely insane times to see this on Steam. Hopefully this encourages more gamers to try out older and fan-made content. You don't need to buy physical devices to enjoy the classics- use the power of your computer to do whatever you want.
