It's a tough sell

For ME it makes sense because I will eventually use the regal aya and plat anyway but
I can't argue with it being a turnoff for all the people that have no use for either.

I want to support DE for all the content they've made available for free.
The argument that this bundle is as much as <X other game> is disingenuous and somewhat ungrateful because it only takes into consideration the bundle and not all the AAA games worth of content provided over the years at no extra cost.

That being said, I can't ignore the lack of options for people to get these skins.
Mine is an edge case scenario where I can afford this, I still have uses for regal aya and am invested enough to continue supporting,

I cannot, in good faith, recommend this to anyone in a different situation.

Hopefully the lessons will be learned and more flexibility is provided next time they do something like this.
The PSA where they announced that plat will be added to the bundles while keeping the price the same is a good sign.
I understand that they cannot remove stuff from the bundles nor offer cheaper versions NOW as it may result in legal consequences but we shouldn't be in this situation to begin with.
People want to be able to get the skins separately without the bloat of regal aya and plat.

Star Wars Battlefront
I've been playing this thing for ages on the PS2 back in the day and just got it on PC.
Combining the gameplay I loved with propper mouse and keyboard controls makes for a really fun time.
Graphics haven't aged as well as they could but it's by no means ugly, just a bit clunky.
Kudos to the steam guides on how to fix aspect ratios and let this game run right on modern screens.
Framerates are not really an issue as this was designed for machines from over a decade ago.
I still find myself jumping into Bespin Platforms for some singleplayer instant action and just having a good time.

7/10 Presentation aged poorly but the gameplay is still enjoyable.

The amount of customization and actual buttons on this thing still has me in shock.
I just thought this was yet another interpretation of the usual xbox / ps3 controller but with touch pads instead of analog sticks. I am glad I was wrong, this is so much more.

Is it a replacement for mouse / keyboard in games that demand accuracy?
NO
Is it the next best thing?
Absolutely.

If you need a controller, get this one. Any other controller can't do half of what this can.

What you see is what you get, it's a very minimalistic, clean design that teaches you how to play without a single word.
Progression is fair, each level more difficult than the last, always letting you understand every new item, never escalating too quickly, there's a name for that, it's good game design.

The game is being sold for less than the drink I've had while playing. It was equally enjoyable but lasted much longer.

Buy this, it's worth it.

Had a review for this game back when it first showed up on steam. Loved it back then and it only got better since and by the sound of it, the devs indent on bringing a lot of the improvements made during the development of Xen to the previous parts of the game.

I've lost count of how many times I beat Half-Life, I've done it on PC, on PS2, even on mobile and Xen has always been the least enjoyable part of the whole experience. Black Mesa gave me my first enjoyable run of Xen and "Run" is most appropriate here. I've been chased down by Gonarch, Gargantuas and Houndeye Hordes; it's been a blast.

There's a number of mechanics introduced, some got close to outstaying their welcome but they all went away before that so I can't really complain about it. I also got close to getting lost but the game design conveyed which way I had to go at every point I was slighly confused.

The Music, what can I possibly say about the music? It's absolutely amazing, personal favorite is "The Hunting" but there's plenty others to be enjoyed.

I have a good amount of hours on Black mesa right now, I intend to get many more.

As a poker game, well... it's a poker game, there isn't much to say about that aspect of it, sometimes, the characters will kinda tell you when they're bluffing or have a great hand and that you should fold but that's about it.
However, this is made by Telltale Games so that changes things considerably.
It's very interesting to get characters from games that are so different and sit them together to have a conversation.
It is both funny and interesting.

I don't like poker but this... I am willing to play through it all the time it takes just to hear everything these guys have to say. 8/10

Do not play!
You can clearly see how long I've been playing this, all of it before Meet your Match. This USED to be good, I used to love this game. I decided to take a break after Meet your Match. I've resumed playing for a month or so and now this latest update drops and NEUTERED everything fun. All the new content is GATED OFF behind a PAY WALL for someone like me that has a backpack worth hundreds of dollars. I am not against spending the money but this... this is just sleasy.

Valve shot TF2 in the leg with Meet your Match and over a year later, once everyone got accustomed to the horrible decisions made, we find ourselves with an update that is as disconnected as it can get from the community as it can be while still raking in cash off the work of the community.

Team Fortress 2 was not killed by Overwatch. They were never in competition with eachother. Team Fortress 2 was killed by Valve and their lack of understanding of what the community wants.

Garry's Mod is a game that makes you the suppreme ruler of your world. The game begins and ends when you decide. If something happens it will happen because you want it to and it will happen the way you want it to. Want the game to be less predictable? There's an addon for that too.

The Toybox feature lets you download and use a large variety of items without leaving your map. And starting with Garry's Mod 13 you can download and install addons straight from the game's menu.
You can do basically ANYTHING in this game: Deathmatch, Hide-and-seek, space wars, role-play, Machinima and many more. There is an addon for anything you can think of. If it isn't just post it and someone might even make it.

Easy and intuitive on its own; Vast and complex once customized.
