I really wanted this route but was put off by all the feedback on socials, i thought i'd buy it anyway, here's my honest opinion.

From what I can see, it's the foundation of a great route, the stations are great, the scenery around certain portions of the route is great, the promise of the free Leven extension update is also great, however there's definitely room for improvement.

1. Missing Airport - One of the highlights of the route in real life is passing under a landing plane, obviously having planes in the game will hit performance but it would be nice to at least have an airport.
2. Low Bridges - There's some excessively low bridges which clearly need to be looked into.
3. Repetitive foliage - I grant you it's a very exciting route which keeps you engaged but that can only take you so far when you've got identical trees and rocks everywhere
4. Empty fields, repetitive - There's massive empty spaces which are just empty fields with the same texture, not sure if this can be improved to vary them but it would go a long way.
5. Queensferry Crossing - You can't see the struts

Overall I give this a 3/5, It's almost there but it just needs a little extra work to round it out. I'll happily change my review once the fixes are in place...

This game is great. It's so refreshing to get a well-tested bug-free game that's also an early access. The gameplay is solid, the only thing it lacks is levels but with such a solid foundation, it's obvious how easy it will be to expand and grow. Frankly the price is a little insulting to the developers and I hope they charge more because they deserve it.

This game is a bug fest of epic proportions… that said the developers seem committed to fixing up the game to a good standard and it shows. Their communication with the community and their love for the game shines through.

The game is a lot of fun, I’ve already sunk too many hours on it and I’ve been pretty hooked since release.

I really like the game. I've seen it come a long way since I started playing. However the performance is just awful. I get reasonable FPS which isn't the issue. It's the stuttering. It's really really bad.

I like the game but there is much need some quality of life changes.

1. Why does the game pause when you tab out of it? This is super frustrating if I want to tab out and select a song on spotify..
2. Why does the game crash when you try to snap it to half the screen.

Fantastic game, looks amazing, really fun to play, however 2.8 hours for £11 is ridiculous. Very disappointed. Had the developers maybe added more levels/challanges, I would say that I was happy but for the price, I'm disappointed I bought it.

Absolutely fantastic game.

If you like a strategy game which leaves you hanging on the edge of your seat I recommend this game. I completed the game in just over 30 hours which I think is fair for the £7 I spent. The game is incredibly challanging and constantly keeps you on your toes multitasking; mangaging your crew, navigation, turrents, special abilities and bomb runs! The amount of customization of your aircraft, skills and characters makes this game really fun and lovable, I really hope the developers make games where you manage a boat/tank or even a US pacific version! We shall see.

Only buy this game if you have a lot of money. Dovetail is a company full of greedy greedy people. They've had DLC up for years and years for ridiculous prices and they never get 'cheap'. They give you a little bit off but for dlc that's essentially out-of-date, sometimes poor quality since they're old and haven't been updated, and since you can usually be complete them within an hour, it amazes me that they're still in business.

The fact they've never offered free stuff (or certainly I've never seen them do it) for the people who have supported them from the start, is just mental. What else do you need to say? I think it's unfair, a lot of people haven't even taken advantage of the game because of the tiny amount of game content that comes with the game and not looking into additional dlc because it's too expensive.

Lastly this game is essentially out of date, the game is 9 years old now and of course they brought out a better one, which will have the same story as this, the only difference is, idiots who have paid into this simulator will now pay into an entirely different one where they most likely won't be able to use previous content.

Fantastic game. Very solid, it does have a huge learning curve but that's to be expected. The game has very few bugs and plenty of potential. Definately a solid purchase. The only thing I would say is performance is an issue. I'm running this on a higher end gaming laptop and i'm having series FPS issues but that's to be expected, especially in its current state.

Stonehearth isn't perfect, far from it, but as with all Early Access games it definately has plenty of potential. The game is incredibly buggy, slow, occassionally unresponsive and is really in dire need of improvement... But, with that said, the game is addictive, fun and unique, has great graphics and seems like it has a great community! I can't wait to see what the developers do with this game, and I can't wait to join them on their journey to make this game!
