Solid and addictive card game with excellent fast UI/UX.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible story. I get that it's meant to appeal to 8-12 year-olds and I am not that, but trust me just mash your way through any ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and skip all the videos. It's derivative Five Nights at Freddy's/Generic Creepypasta ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ with some competent glitch effects and a "surprise" back end that I won't spoil because while I thought it was stupider than stupid I won't be rude to the players who still want to discover it fresh (if they haven't through YouTube by now).

Glad I got it, even glad I got Kaycee's Mod to keep playing. The card game itself is good, albeit could use some balancing for opening hands. All too often I've had runs succeed/fail even with excellent decks just because the AI gets to deploy too many cards on the first few rounds.

Just skip that terrible, terrible ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ story.

It's a 3D Platformer with great humor and truly exceptional creativity. Recommended for all ages and demographics.

If you find the potato-people designs gross, just tough it out. Per a loved one-- "Once you accept that's just how the game wants to look, it grows on you."

The Uzi and Knife seem terrible, don't use them.

Trancing out to this is amazing.

It's not life-changing, but it's really good. So far the controls, aesthetic, tech trees, mission variety, it's all perfectly good for the price point. I actually prefer this to some radically reinvented take on the old X-COM formula. It scratches the itch nicely for an hour or two each night and I don't feel particularly bored or shortchanged by any one aspect of it. It is exactly what is advertised, no more and no less. How rare is that?

I will say that some elements like giving items to different crew members isn't explained all that well, but it's minor if you're willing to be even the tiniest bit curious.

Definitely worth a purchase if you like Squad Tactics games.

Simple and fun, extremely well-designed, but deceptively difficult to hit the harder challenges. A perfect budget title.

If you read this far you're one of two types of people:

1. Fastidious enough to know what "fastidious" means and why it's important when selecting games, especially retro games.

2. Looking for some information on this particular HD remaster.

I can't speak much* to the second. I never played BLOOD in 1997, I only ever played on things like BloodGDX and NBlood and DOSBOX and "One Unit Whole Blood." Honestly the details across all of them seem pretty comparable. This version -- "Fresh Supply" -- definitely had the best options and overall feeling.

As for the first, BLOOD is a really great old-school FPS. You deal tons of damage, you die quickly to hitscanners, you need to know how to manage explosives. I loved this game enough to do every single campaign and find every secret level. It's worth a damn. Play it.

Excellent hybrid between a Roguelite (yes I hate the word too) and a Tower Defense game.

The heroes are varied and the aesthetic nice enough to support many playthroughs. In-fact my biggest complaint is that there isn't more/bigger art for some of the extras.

It's far from perfect-- the random enemies will absolutely screw your run sometimes, the leveling system highly favors 1-2 superstar heroes over an even party, some heroes are much much easier than others, the TF2 heroes show up way too much, the more fanciful minor modules are way less useful than the obvious damage dealers, and there's no way to track which animals you've tamed/not tamed with one hero.

But I really like it.

Serious shame about the rights. This isn't a perfect game but it's easily the best Friday the 13th that's ever going to exist. Kane Hodder doing mocap. Lots of good variety in mechanics. Great aesthetic. Really with a little bit of balance tweaking and some DLC and this really could have been something, but alas...

Delightful mystery with style and charm to spare. Great environments and oozing with personality. The later puzzles can be a bit of a chore, but nothing too difficult and overall the design is excellent.
