Cute little game. While neither the writing nor the puzzles really blew me away, I still enjoyed the 4.5 hours I spent through it.
If you're looking for what is essentially an expansion of the original flash game, and not much else, there's no harm in trying it out.

This is an essential experience for anyone that's into the Half-Life series.

Valve's blessing really did this project wonders; the sheer amount of effort put into this remake is undeniable. Much of the game's design is on an even playing field, and in some cases is even better than, Valve's own games.

Although I've never played the original Half-Life, there's no doubt in my mind that a lot of passion was put into making the game as true to the original as possible, while providing quality changes and improvements to appeal to a modern audience.
That being said, there are certainly elements here and there that do show the original game's age (some sections that don't seem necessary come to mind). However, the qualities are more than enough to make up for this.

First "game" I've played since Undertale that's had such a strong emotional impact on me.

I've never felt so uncomfortable and distressed watching events unfold in a game before.

If you think you can stomach whatever Doki Doki Literature Club has to offer, then by all means try it out. It's free, so there's no reason not to.

Extremely solid platformer with as much challenge as there is content. If you've got a friend, I would highly recommend trying out the co-op and race levels as well. The level design is fantastic on both ends.

DOOM is easily the best single-player I've ever played in an FPS.

The movement is fast, but responsive. The combat is brutal, and absolutely satisfying. The maps are very well-designed and are filled with secret areas that, alongside having multiple difficulties, give DOOM a huge amount of replay value.

This isn't your typical "cover > aim > shoot" single player that plagues the typical modern shooter. No sir, you gotta get in the demons' faces and tear them limb from limb, skillfully dodging (or tanking) any attack they throw at you. These demons don't ♥♥♥♥ around -- the AI will certainly catch you off guard multiple times, particularly later in the game.

The music makes you feel like the most badass demon-slaying being in existence.

Play it play it play it.

NOTE: Despite having nearly 20 hours in this game, I've spent none of that time in the multiplayer. So yeah I can't really say much there. From what I've heard, the multiplayer is far from the highlight of the game. Get it for the single player.

Brothers is an incredible journey with an entirely diverse set of environments and ingenious use of its controls. The importance of the game's controls becomes particularly imporant later on in the game.

I would absolutely recommend purchasing it at any price.

I've spent a lot of time playing the Wii U version, hence the low amount of play time as of the time I wrote this review.

Rayman Legends is a fantastic platformer that improves upon its predecessor in a lot of ways. The music levels never get old and the game has tons of replayability, especially if you're a completionist. It also looks just as beautiful, if not better than Origins.

I personally prefer this version over the Wii U, since the Murphy (the green dude you control w/ the gamepad) exclusive levels are a nightmare to play alone, as the secondary character is incredibly slow and is controlled by some awful AI.

Keep in mind that there's also a large collection of remastered versions of the levels from Origins. With that being said, if you're deciding between the two games, I would get Legends for sure (personally I would get both, but deciding b/w one or the other is perfectly reasonable).

Short but sweet 3-hour long puzzle game. Don't get into Pony Island expecting to be mind-blown, but rather mildly impressed by what it has to offer.

Fun pong-inspired game. Really satisfying when you play consistently well.

Contains three intense 15-minute long levels and a bonus Portal level.

Highly recommended for those who like difficult, precision-based games (particularly with your mouse).

I hate to be that guy, but...

Why are you even reading this? You probably know by now how much praise this game has gotten. Just play it, or try the demo if you're REALLY that uncertain about it.

All I can say is that Undertale is NOT your traditional RPG - it's an experience, and a good one at that. I would consider it to be easily one of my favorite games of 2015 (easily the single player GOTY for me, any way). There really isn't much else I can say about Undertale that wouldn't take away what makes it so special.

But forget about what I think, forget what everyone else thinks, forget about the fandom - just try it.
