Highly recommend if you got friends to play with.

This game is incredible to play either solo or with a group of friends. The 'story' is pretty generic and simple, but the world you go through to to complete your mission is very interesting and I found myself invested in going to every map node, and trying to see all the possible different outcomes. Each of the characters are interesting as well and it was fun finding different powerful character synergies. The cards are all super interesting especially when you unlock characters that can better utilize the more powerful ones, but the four starting characters are a very good balance of each of the four classes, so most cards can be used to find the ones you like the most.

Only reason I don't refund this is because I don't like the guy that bought it for me.

I have found hell. This game is hell.

Man where to start with this. I guess the obvious, visually the game is beautiful, like wow, it looks great. The explosions which is a big part of this game series are even better than the second one, which were good in their own right. My favorite thing however was how the grappling hook went from a tool for primarily movement to a tool of total chaos. Destroying an entire military base with nothing but the grappling hook was the greatest thing I've ever done in a video game in recent years. Reaching 100% in this game was for the most part a blast. However I did find the wingsuit challenges to be a frustrating pain in the rear, but once you finally master and earn all 5 gears on every single wingsuit challenge you feel a sense of accomplishment. Being able to reliberate locations you already liberated was a nice way to vent any frustrations those challenges give you. Story wise is just the same from last game, another dictator doing what they do best, but this time is slightly different, he has super advanced bavarium technology! Which actually turned out to be really cool. DLC wise the only one I would fully recommend as necessary is the Air, Land, and Sea expansion pass (which contains the Mech Land Assault, Sky Fortress, and Bavarium Sea Heist DLCs). Each one was an enjoyable experience and truly added something to the game, the rest of the DLC are just vehicles and weapons which this game already has plenty of them which work just fine. Get the rest of the DLC if you want, but definitely pick up the Air, Land, and Sea expansion pass. Either pick this game up for full price or wait for a sale. This game goes for insanely cheap during a sale.

Just Cause 2 is a masterpiece. Definitely one of my top 10 games. For the story you dethrone a dictator. In order to do that you need to cause chaos and destroy everything that stands in your path. Visually the game has aged extremely well, it still looks fantastic for a decade old game. My only gripe is you can't actually 100% the game since there is a missing destructible (although there is a mod which adds it if you really care about 100% the game), but thankfully completing the game with 100% isn't required for getting 100% of the achievements which was fairly easy to do. This game is definitely worth it full price, but when it goes on sale it is insanely cheap. Being able to destroy military bases and take on an army is the biggest reason to get this game, the story of taking down a dictator was just a nice bonus on top of it all. As for the DLC for this game they aren't necessary at all, get them if you want them or there's a nice bundle for them, but this game is amazing and fun without any of the DLC.

This game is easily a 10/10 for me. I hope you find this game as enjoyable as I did.
