Just finished the main campaign, still need to do the DLCs but i wanted to write this for the main game:
Overall it's a pretty good game, the story is engaging, Graphics are lovely, the combat is decent enough, especially if you like lethal gunfights, and grabbing it on the sale as part of the trilogy made it a fantastic deal. It does however have some problems, so I'd like to outline my opinions below.

Pros:
-There's a good array of cars and guns, all in lovely detail. Also depending on the year new guns and cars will pop up. Its mostly Pistols, SMGs and Rifles, plus a single shotgun, but they have a decent variety. Also the cars can be tuned up and some have fantastic custom paint jobs
-The combat is pretty good in most aspects, Its lethal, you'll only take 2-3 shots before you die so cover is vital in most scenarios, but there's also ample opportunities to grab your machine-gun, walk-forward mowing people down, going brrrr. Hp only regenerates to 2/3s of max, you have to eat/drink to get it back up, but lose it in a single shot so i rarely bothered.
-The AI in combat understands cover and doesn't just stand there, It also advances if you stay in place, and will try to fire or move as you reload
-It kept the mafia/gangster aesthetic very well, the clothing, outfits and cars all feel in place.
-Lovely graphics, especially cutscenes, you can see where the DE touchups shine.
-Love the music, If you like the radio in fallout, you'll like the radio in Mafia II. The radio also regularly comments on your exploits.
-Characters were well done, I felt attached to a few of them, especially your bestfriend, and invested in what happens.
-Only ever encountered one or two bugs
-Don't feel like paying for it? Steal it! Clothes stores, Food Joints and gunshops can all be held-up and robbed to steal their inventory if you don't want to pay for it. Though holding up certain stores may require a gunfight.

Now comes the issues, and this game has a few, some which may be controversial.

Cons:
-Open-world in name only, there's no side missions, mini-games or side content beyond robbing stores, scrapping cars or fighting the police. 99% of the content is missions and going from mission to mission.
-In combat the AI will sometimes pull some stunts, like shooting you while on the floor, or spawning and gunning you while running to cover, very often i'd have an AI spawn or pop out of a corner and oneshot me and i'm wondering "where the hell...?" Also Grenades and Molotovs never flt that useful, At least when I was throwing them, not the enemy...
-Bugs: They do exist, I encountered one where during an emotional cutscene Joe failed to render, and was invisible, sort of ruining the moment, Another where dialogue repeated during chapter 14, often overlapping on itself, and also a bug preventing progress on chapter 14 if i'd robbed any stores during it, which the game advises you do to collect money. This required restarting the entire chapter and earning money via scrap instead
-This may be the most controversial one, but it really annoyed me. at least 3 times during the campaign, especially after a mission with a big payout, something will happen to your character and the game will take all your guns, Money and once even purchased clothes. This is a neat plot-trick once, but three to four times it gets frustrating. Especially as it never gives you the items back, you have to go and repurchase your guns, or collect new ones in combat. At this point, why even let me buy guns just to take them away, usually at the very start of the next level. It stops being clever or fun when you do it repeatedly. If there was one aspect of the game i could change it would be this.

Overall i'd give it an 8/10 maybe 8.5 for it great gameplay but a few glaring flaws. Definately grab it as part of the trilogy, especially on sale.

Adored this game so much growing up, the original Spyro trilogy were some of my foundational gaming memories, and having it brought back and taken to the PC was magical.
While i may not be a fan of some of the enemy redesigns in the game, it's clear a lot of love went into the remakes, the pre/post level cut scenes in Spyro 2 are stunning, as are the other cutscenes.
This is a game made for people who love Spyro, by people who love Spyro, and that's an achievement in modern gaming these days.

Early Access Review
Love the game, just like I did the predecessor,
It's currently missing a few old features, like drones, but they're apparently in the works.
The new slimes are fun, making osem wacky and weird combos, the maps are very well designed, music is as expected, wonderful and the art-style is adorable as ever. Plenty of hidden goodies to find and the new lab + Gathering system is a lost more fun than slapping down extractors, though i wouldn't mind them returning,

Pick it up now and you will adore it, if not at least grab it when it's finished. Any Slime rancher fan will be thrilled at this sequel

A fantastic remaster of the classic. The new AI is a lot of fun, and it's a good game for friends. the campaigns also bring back too many memories.

Its a fun, casual little game that can be picked up and put down. Yet it takes a lot of careful planning to actually get right.

It is fantastic and Engaging, as an Ex-WoW player i'm happy to say i find it much better than warcraft, especially the DLCs which only get better and better.

Fantastic range of vehicles, but the game can be a nightmarish grind. late teir stuff can take weeks to grind, even with premium, and late teirs turn into sniper hell, but it's still a fun game

Beautiful game, you'll play through it more than once for sure.

Ending had me crying, in the best sort of way

I played the game on Xbox, both the original and cold war. And was gifted this by a friend,
I wish i could return it for him...

Deciding to complete the WWI campaigns first I played threw them, i was a bit surprised at first finding how this versions units had changed. Mortars were no longer AT weapons but now gas launchers, There were anti tank guns too, Armoured trucks functioned like cold-war APCs and the AI vehicles took a lot more interest in destroying turrets. Planes and tanks now needed battery charge;

Not bad, it was clear though especially with the First-game they'd more or less re-skinned the Coldwar game for the WWI game...

Then came the first boss, the TSAR tank, or, more likely then didn't come... It simply rolled out, entered the main battlefield and froze. not shooting, not deploying troops, it was just pelted by my artillery emplacements...

I decided to retry it, probably on my end right? Nope same thing again...

After that i got the AA gun mark II, which at least in player hands is massively inferior to the MK I, it shoots like a shotgun, your turret AI can machine gun it like crazy, while humans can't... the original AA from TS was much better, a heavier MG.

Then came a mission in the Trainyard, bombers turned up the they circled away from my turrets dropping bombs and either died or flew off. Next some elite troops spawned, got stuck on the traintracks running in circles and died to artillery fire... And then finally came the helicopters. The original ones were slow sorta derpy, durable, these ones just dashed my box, one getting through, while machinegunning my turrets...

The next level was it though. the MKIII AA, basically the MKII but does more damage and fires slower. it doesn't produce a flak-cloud like the old game... Oh and your turret AI is useless with it. It can't aim and hit fighters, meaning i had to manually control it but lost to fighter spam, that's when i decided i was done.

Don't by the game, Don't gift the game, Don't play the game.

It's broken, very much so, and based on the top reviews, most of which are negative, the devs have little intent to fix it either, with more bugs further in the game.

play the originals, do not play Complete.

It was a good game, hell i'd say for a tank lover with a good sense of humour it was a great game. It's only spoiled with it's ending, which feels thrown in becasue the devs ran out of ideas/steam. Hell i'd pay for a DLC to expand it, but seems not.

I'd give it a 7/10
