Great visuals, excellent sound design. It's cool - but not much else. I found myself enjoying looking back at the reflection of batman, but there really isn't enough content to warrant the price tag. The story is dull, and they removed all the things that could be fun from the game, like combat. All you do is teleport around and watch some poorly directed cutscenes, and get everything you have to do spoonfed to you by the narrator (batman).

It's cool, but be glad you can refund this.

Firewatch, but with zombies. Challenging, funny and smooth gameplay. Probably the best VR game to date, and a must buy to anyone with a decent CPU and a VR head set.

It's difficult to say if one should classify this as a game, but in any case it is a fascinating experience. The Beginner's Guide is a journey through the relationship of two friends, which leads to a thought provoking and moving end.

Without a doubt the worst netcode in any game I've ever played. Utter garbage.

The strongest of the Telltales-titles. I am a big fan of the genre, and this is my favourite. Combining excellent voice acting, compelling characters and a simply astounding story. High replayability.

9/10

A masterful creation. One of my all time favourites.

The Witcher 2 shines in terms of storytelling, interesting characters, fun combat, a truly remarkable soundtrack and glorious voice acting. Being from 2011 it still looks better than a lot of 2015 titles, and is optimized fairly well.

The first 1-1.5 hours of the game can be a bit tedious if you have not played the first game or read any of the books, as there are a lot of characters to be introduced to.

9/10 - A manditory game for anyone remotely interested in fun.

10/10 - An outstanding masterpiece.

I've put a lot of time into this franchise. I've read all the books, and I've now played all the games. Honestly I think CD PR Red has done a better job with the franchise than Sapokowski himself.

Anyways, here are some pros/cons from my perspective.

Cons:
- Quite a bit of glitches, but still nothing compared to what games like Skyrim/Fallout has
- Lack of scaling. After the first 10 levels the game is very easy even on the hardest difficulty. Using time on potions, oils etc seems pointless as you progress into the game. NG+ doesn't really deal with this well.
- Controls can be a bit clunky
- drunk steed
- some points of interest seems forced, rushed, and ultimately a not so much interesting point.

Pros:
+ Extremely good voice acting
+ One of the best open worlds in a game. The level-design is splendid.
+ IMO the best characters in any game, it is simply stunning how well the characters are made. The greatest strength of the game. You quickly tie an emotional bond to the characters, and all the main characters are very interesting, and complex.
+ How about a round of cards? Gwent, specifically?
+ Brilliant soundtrack.
+ Combat is versatile, interesting and challenging. First levels are very hard though. Variety of different signs and weapons to use. Expect something along the lines of Dark Souls in terms of moveset.
+ Excellent graphics, and mostly very good optimization. I have a 980 and can do about 30 FPS in 4k(mostly 60 fps in 1080, but when it rains in the swamp it goes down to like 30 for some reason). This is one of the few games where NVIDIA's 4k setting really shines, as the textures in 1080p seem like garbage in comparison(check the trees, they're insane in 4k).
+ Very good storytelling. The main story will keep most people hooked through the entirety of the game. I do wholeheartedly recommend to play TW2 before starting this however. The sidequests are the real surprise though, as I don't think anyone has put so much effort into sidequests in a game this big before. They are awesome.
+ The sheer scale of the game. It is simply ridicolous. I have spent about 130 hours in the game on a playthrough. If you only care about the story and play on easy the game will take around 35-45 hours.
+ Free DLCs, actual expansion packs; what's not to like?
+ Mod support, with sort-of ok mod tools
+ BEARD
+ Choices in the game have a very great impact on the outcome of the ending(s).
+ For those who read the books, the devs have done a good job putting in references here and there. Also, a lot of references to books, movies, games etc in general. You will chuckle.

My verdict:
I have had so much fun with this game. One of the very few games that have managed to get to me emotionally. It has without a doubt become one of my favourite games, of all time. It's hard to put my finger on too many negative things here. There is a lot that could have been done better, sure, but compared to other games.. I don't think a game has to be perfect to achieve a perfect score, and based on the immensely enjoyable time I've had with this game, I give it a solid 10/10. I have played about 500 games, and this is the 2nd game I can give a 10/10 rating.

I wholeheartedly recommend to play Witcher 2 first, as you will get considerably more out of the game. Witcher 1 has horrible combat, and is very VERY hard to get through. I honestly wouldn't even try it until after TW3.

The best looker of 2014. Graphically a totally stunning game, which makes the game worthwhile in itself if you have a top-tier gpu. My 980 averages around 50-60 FPS everything maxed out. I have not played many mystery-games before, so I was quite new to the genre when booting up the game. The mechanics are quite fascinating, but even though innovative it does become stale. I am not sure I feel it lives quite up to it's price. I grabbed it at a sale, and am personally happy with the experience. I haven't completely finished the game yet, but it takes a lot for me to finish games.

Whilst the game looks amazing, and the mechanics are very cool at first; that's not what grabbed me with this game. It was the atmosphere. The seemingly vast landscape created a sense of solitude; the kind of "no-one-can-hear-you-scream" kind of thing. The game executes this flawlessly. At first I thought this was going to be a pure horror game; as you walk through the abandoned, dark buildings the game produces quite a creepy vibe.

If you're new to the genre; buy it. If you've played a lot of mystery games before this might seem a bit dull. All in all I do recommend it, but buy it at a sale.
