Do not even bother playing this game anymore. Nerfing gems, nerfing the passives and now nerfing the drops silently without even mentioning it in the patch notes. Might as well call it a walking simulator at that point because you can't kill anything and if you even kill anything there is nothing for you to pick up anyways.

This game was great. Took me around 35 hours to finish it with 100% map completion in hard mode.

Story

Unlike other Ys games this one is more focused on the story. You get to know every single character and quite frankly all of them are likeable. Beside the castaways, the main story is quite good and I found myself enjoying every single bit of it.

Combat

The combat feels a bit like Memories of Celceta or Seven where you have 4 skills equiped + an extra skill.

Map

The map is quite large and it's way easier to get 100% completion compared to Memories of Celceta where you had to hug every single corner. There is even an item making the area for map discovery better so you don't have to worry about it.

Dungeons / Boss

I felt like the bosses and the dungeons felt well designed. It gave me some Zelda vibes since for almost every dungeon you get an item that helps you clear it. Also, the crypt in Dana's memories was a very nice addition.

Soundtrack

As usual, the soundtrack did not disapoint. I find myself listening to it even when I am not playing the game.

Overall a very solid game for Ys veterans or new players alike. This game feels like a good starting point if you are new to the Ys franchise.

The game is pretty good overall but has some issues.

First of all, the completion system for the map is kinda clunky since you have to literally hug every wall to get it. Also when you end up with something like 98.5% at the end it's pretty hard to find out what corners you have missed.

Secondly, I feel like the bosses lack identity. I felt like beating the same boss over and over again. Especially, at some point in the game where basically 3 of the bosses are only re-skin of one another. Not to mention the last boss of the game is very underwhelming.

Other than that, the gameplay/combat is pretty good, the dungeons are well designed and the story felt fine to me.

Easily the best game in the series. The combat, the bosses and the level design are incredible. The soundtrack is also the biggest banger I've ever heard. This is truly Falcom's masterpiece and one if not the best JRPG I have ever played.

This game might seem a good game at first ... but that's only until you stumble upon peruvian Techies pickers in every ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game. They are going to make the game last 10 times the time it is supposed to last and make any form of entertainment non-existent. This 6.84 patch has been the worst piece of garbage that has happened to Dota 2 in 2 years. It's the perfect mixture between getting Deathballed in 15 minutes by a peruvian stack that only says jajaja all game and a 180 minutes soporific game where the other team only turtles in their base. So if you like games where you just run at people while mashing your head on your keyboard or even like games where the only thing you have to do is being afk and take a nap. Well I got some news for you, this piece of garbage might satisfy your needs!
