This game is not hard... it's challenging, and it will have you saying those 3 famous words: "just one more run! just one more run!"

Hello everybody, my name is Snail, and this is my review.

Let me take you back to a simpler time... a time where you could pop the cartrdige into the console... a time before dlc, day 1 patches, and countless bugs. That time... is back, with rabbit and steel.

Rabbit and Steel isn't just a game; it's a personal journey back to a time when I sought solace in the pixelated landscapes of my childhood. Growing up, I faced my own set of challenges, often feeling like I was navigating through a maze of bullies and insecurities. But within the confines of those 8-bit worlds, I found refuge and strength.

With each challenging level and relentless enemy, Rabbit and Steel mirrored the obstacles I faced in my own life. But unlike reality, here I had control. Every defeat wasn't a setback but a chance to learn and grow stronger. The game's nostalgic charm reminded me of simpler times, when all I needed was a controller in hand and a pixelated hero to guide through the trials ahead.

As I immersed myself in its retro-inspired world, I found myself reclaiming a sense of power and resilience I thought I had lost. Rabbit and Steel became more than just a game; it became a beacon of hope and a reminder of my own inner strength. And as I conquered each level, I realized that just like in the game, the challenges I faced outside were not insurmountable.

So, if you're looking for more than just entertainment, if you're searching for a journey that transcends pixels and screens, give Rabbit and Steel a try. You might just find that the greatest adventures are the ones that reflect the battles we fight within ourselves.

This is a fantastic traditional JRPG by NIS from the PS1 brought out in English for the first time. It is packed with soul and charm. I highly recommend this as well as Rhapsody 1 and 3 if you are looking for a lighthearted JRPG that is not overly long.

If you have any interest in the Disgaea series or other NIS games, these games are where it started.

This is a Contra 4 clone that does little more than show how far WayForward has fallen since making that game. With mechanics lifted straight from Contra 4, there is a solid foundation here. Unfortunately the level design is often cheap and the game is rarely memorable.

This is better than some of WayForward's other recent games, but that is not saying much. For 5 dollars or less you can do worse, otherwise I would stay away. This PC port is also terrible with zero options as other reviewers have mentioned.
