First, the good:
The visuals are great, the architecture makes sense. Game plays well, it's polished. It's an attractive setting for a story that has good premise. Voice acting is great.

Then, the not so good:
Characters are unlikeable, by visuals and by behaviour. (The models look weird, especially as rendered by AMD card.) The main character makes decisions for herself, you as a player have no say in anything. You're there to walk around, solve puzzles (those are OK), and climb and platform a bunch (which is uninspired and annoying). The path you have to take is given by invisible walls and in some cases that is really upsetting and breaks the immersion. There's a lot of flashbacks to the main character's history, which you gradually cease to really care about, since all of them behave like hysteric jerks from a soap opera. This really ruins the climax as well, since no one listens to anyone, they just shout at each other for no legible reason. The ending then felt quite stupid for me.

More thoughts:
I've played Deliver Us the Moon, which was worthwhile. The main difference is, you were "a guy" so the story was more about the apocalyptic subject matter, not burdened by background family baggage like the second installment.
I've also played recently The Invincible, another Mars story. That one is a good comparison, because it's also story-driven, so you got to walk a lot and look around a lot, and the main character is a woman as well. The main difference is, Invincible gives you choices. It lets you talk to other characters (and they listen!), so it's much more immersive. More importantly, it doesn't toss you around in time to tell you some unnecessary bit of family history, the flasbacks are important pieces of the detective structure. In short, it feels like playing a game, not bumbling from one scripted event to another.
So my recommendation is, unless you are really into Mars-based games, don't really bother. This is a story-driven game that fails at the story itself.

This is basically just an inflated version of BL2 Tiny Tina's Assault on Dragon Keep DLC. That one was a great piece of writing because it capitalised on great story and characters from BL2. It was a respite from gloomy times, a wonky child's suppression of life's tragedies.
Wonderlands, however, don't have the advantage to be a DLC of a great base game. It's just random and tries hard to be funny with recycled old characters.
It's not a bad game, the gameplay is smooth and fast-paced. (Unless in Overworld. Navigating it was a drag.)
Guns and spells are satisfyingly destructive and satisfyingly varied – at first. Then, however, nearing the endgame I just gave up and used the same type of SMG's (Hyperion and Dahl) with different status effects because it didn't make sense to play with anything else – they simply had the best DPS.
Classes aren't very appealing, they all kind of blend together. Adding skill points makes no noticeable change in gameplay, you don't feel empowered like in the previous installments.
I don't recommend this game for a full price, but if you want to rekindle your fondness of the series, buy it discounted.

This game is no game, it's a piece of art you can play. Compelling storytelling, well drawn characters and – most importantly – a chellenging yet addictive gameplay. This game design is quite unique, yet makes total sense.

A very neat and fun to play survival game. The graphics are very pleasing to the eye, the exploration is immersive unlike in any other game. The story is present and though it won't rock your sock off, it keeps you interested.
The only reservation I have is occasional glitching of a certain underwater vehicle in climatic dry conditions.
Otherwise, I had a very pleasant time.

It's a worthy successor to the first Dark Souls. Initially, it's overwhelming and you hate it, and then something clicks and you accept the challenge. If you played the first DS, you'll notice the combat is more varied but also more demanding. The enemy movesets are well telegraphed but lightningly quick. Praise be to the Sun, for jolly cooperation is still a thing.
If you didn't play the first DS, then prepare to die. A lot.

Steam, please, never offer me a console game ever again. I'm a PC gamer, pampered by the ability to jump as I like, strafe run and, I cannot stress this fully enough, kill a boss in multiple ways, not just one scripted. Anytime a game makes me do a quicktime event, I get offended -- the game robs me of my freedom for what exactly? That's cheap development -- I get to press quickly an arbitrary key to be shown an "impressive" cutscene? I'm not impressed, I'm annoyed.
Also, this has frustrating checkpoints and the game gets boring really fast, since the enemies are all the same.
Oh, and don't get me started on the character development. The hero is an immature ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that I cannot relate with, and he slides on his ass, which for some reason is supposed to be tough as hell. It's riddiculous.
The guns suck.
I hate this game.

This is a very addictve game with a very mild learning curve and relaxing gameplay. I've been on a lookout for a good Privateer-like game for a long time but all of those I've tried were quite difficult to master.
Thankfully, Rebel Gallaxy is no space simulator, it is a space arcade with enjoyable gameplay.
Although the missions are basically of the same sorts (go there, kill them all), the number of options to upgrade your ship keeps you in the "just another mission" mood.
Visual-wise, the game is very well polished, the ships are lovably ugly, rugged and industrial. Combat is a frenzy of fireworks and lethal beams, the explosions are satisfyingly epic.
Since this is a "cowboys in space game", the soundtrack features rock, country and blues tracks of contemporary artists and is a pleasure to listen to -- unless you play the game several hours straight, then you'll wish someone would change the CD.
To conclude, this is a perfect Privateer-like game for buccaneers who can't be bothered to learn the ropes in a space simulator; for lazy gamers, if you wish.

The graphics are awesome, the physics are great but this game fails in a crucial aspect -- the gameplay. It's monotonous, linear and after a while a tedious chore. The bossfights are outright idiotic -- suddenly, you no longer play a 3d person shooter but an isometric hack&slash with quick-time events to finish the boss. If you customized your key controls, the game still instructs you to press the default keys which is frustratingly confusing. And, as it goes with quick-time events, you get to watch a scripted sequence with occasional keypress which steals the rewarding feel of defeating the opponent all by yourself.
The story is nice but all characters have dead eyes so there's less life in them than in Jedi Outcast or Jedi Academy. Also, Vader's got different voice actor.
I wanted badly the negative reviews not to be true but they are. Buy/stick to Jedi Academy instead, it's a far better game at making you feel like a jedi.

Early Access Review
This is a game with a very steep learning curve. So the first few hours can be an extremely frustrating and repetitive experience. It takes a lot of learning to plan your strategy and to combine weapons with different chassis and propulsion.
The robot making is very easy but the hard part is the physics. You have to think about forces and stability and if you guess it wrong, your fancy tank might not even take off. That's the greatest thing about this game and it's a lot of fun.
The combat itself, that's another part. You stand against human opponents, so any trick up your sleeve might soon be old. There's a lot of chaos on the battlefield and one mistake might get you killed in just under a minute.
Never mind that, this is cool like Lego but with explosions!
