I can't believe this games reviews went to "mostly negative". Everyone who rated it negative is either stupid or ignorant and should really feel ashamed about it.

You fail to understand that the devs did the RIGHT thing after having an unsuspectedly successful launch with millions of copys sold. They didn't just take the money and run but instead they started working on a entirely new engine which WILL lift this game to another level and allow them to actually create the experience all of us hardcore survival fans were waiting for. Besides that it will also be the engine to upcoming arma games so it's surely no joke and yes, it took them years but its a new engine. Use common sense. They did all that while still trying to update the "useless" stable branch so people have something to play in the meantime.

I can't understand how the reviews became like this. They are using the money to create an even better product for the customers that already paid for it and whose were actually expecting something worse than the final product will be. oh no. such ♥♥♥♥ devs.

Either way. If you read this ignore any review that either complains that its "taking too long" or "buggy" since both claims are invalid if you actually show some interest in development and most of all ignore all "no loot / too hard" reviews because sincerely the people writing those didnt even know what they were bying.

I had tons of fun and the (by far. really really far) most adrenaline pumping gunfights/situations in this game are uncontested. yes, i stopped playing because it was too clunky/buggy but i was always aware what i was buying since they made it quite clear on the store page.

Can't wait for the finished game/beta. I recommend waiting for the beta until you buy it tho (which will come out this year) since that will change things up alot. The only reason to buy it now is a possibly cheaper price but only do that if you trust in what the developers promise. (Which is usually a good idea since we are talking about BI. But knowing things like that would require some "unignorance" aswell.)

I really hope they find a way to re-release on steam so the reviews get purged. Seeing how dedicated the devs are to delivering the best possible product with the ressources they got from it is just sad. And in return they get ♥♥♥♥ on by an ignorant idiots/trolls.

Grow up people. Its a unique game with situations you won't get out of any other game (especially not that cheap pubg ripoff but thats another topic). if its too hard for you just accept it and move on and not ♥♥♥♥ on it. If you think its too buggy or development took to long read the store page / dev logs / reddit / beta footage interviews on what is going on but either way:
Use common sense. 4 years is a totally fine timespan for a project like this. They aren't EA or Blizzard.

I hope this review clears some things up for new buyers and if i only changed one persons mind im already happy i wrote it. Good luck to the DAYZ team and ill be back when the beta hits.
