Short overall, but there's a TON of content. You have plenty of replayability due to the upgrade system and all the secrets everywhere. Seems very much like games from years ago that had unlockables built in through discovery and achievement rather than DLC. Well worth a purchase. Could do with some extra levels/maps in future.

So, if I was to rate this when I first played it (on release...) it would be one of the lowest rated games I'd ever put. However, after many months of development, it actually seems to play quite well now. Is it great? No. Is it even one of my favourite fallout games? Nope. I'd give it a solid 5/10. The gameplay is very fallout-esque. The story is garbage. The end-game is non-existant, but the game is ok.

Now, I'd give it a better rating if they had actually given fallout 1st for free. After trying the private worlds, they're SO MUCH BETTER. No need to hope some dude hasn't looted the place you're in already.

Pretty decent game, however it suffers from quite a few flaws.

1: It's very basic. This may be good, may be bad, but it's basically just picking units of a certain type and combining them together and hoping for the best. Sometimes you win, sometimes RNG makes you lose.

2: It's too RNG based. Literally everything is based on randomness. Where your pieces move/attack first might be different the 2nd round of the same enemy. The items you get are RNG. The units you get to pick are RNG. Your enemies are RNG. You need to be lucky to win, not skillfull.

3: It's too much for a mobile game. The game takes upwards of 30-40 minutes depending on how far you get, this makes it almost impossible to play on the bus or a ride to somewhere, and unless you're plugged in, your battery is going to die. For reference, I have an S8+ with the graphics settings turned to low/med for battery saving, and 30 minutes of playing drains me from 100% to 40%.

4: It's also too much to be a side-game. You can't just pull this game up while you're playing something else or doing something else as it takes slightly too much attention to be able to keep it in the background and pop in and out.

It's almost like if you spend time working on your port and publish it without nasty DRM and with working 60fps, no bugs, and at a fairly reasonable price, people will buy and enjoy it!

Hey guys we'll never add microtransactions to our games but now that it's in early access I think we should after only releasing 2 content patches. It comes with a new perk though guys! Aren't you excited?!

TL;DR - Great game, a little short.

I bought this game a little skeptical, but as soon as it started I knew it was gonna be good. From the atmosphere of the game, the main character, the enemies, and the cheesey puns and jokes, it had me enjoying every minute of it.

The story is fun and easy to follow, if a bit simple, but you'll have no problem progressing through.
The retro style in areas mixed with the sudden inclusion of more modern, and then even more ancient games make the game very unique in it's style.

Overall, I'd rate this game a 9/10, as it has me wanting to play through it again and again, and hoping that there'll be a part 2. Buy it if you don't mind a short story, but love some good gameplay.
