Very cool game, really enjoying it... Nice art style and love the tongue in cheek humor.

Only 3 hours in, but really enjoying it. Not going to write an in-depth review, but I can recommend it, if you enjoy a bit of crafting and exploration at your own pace...

Look it was good fun when it came out, still good now. For older gamers it's a nice romp through nostalgia. Worth the price of admission.

I have increasingly mixed feelings about this game, the concept is great, the gun play is solid, if a bit sparse, however I see the potential. At this time I would say wait before you decide to sink 100 hours into it. There is still so much to be done to make this game great.

Some of my personal favourite issues are as follows:

1. Laggy start - parachute lag and rubber banding means almost 50% of the time you will be killed unarmed because the game can't decide where you landed.

2. Engagment Lags - Getting into to a gun fight almost 65% of time causes a frame drop and lag, the game freezes for 1 second and when it finally responds you are dead...

3. My game lags everytime a player is within my vicinity, it's helpful to know a player is near by but it leads to problem 2.

4. No local severs - major lag, as high as 500ms at times - no good for an FPS - can deal with 100 or 150 but anything higher is a death sentance unless you catch the player looting or unaware.

5. Janky Physics - Cars and People don't physics as expected...

6. Sound - My own footsteps scare the sh*t out of me... And sound levels still seem completely unrealistic - hearing a player stomp about like a disgrunted elephant in the building next door is not realistic...

Now for the Pros:

1. Great work has been done to improve on bugs and cheating

2. Weapons feel real and have heft

3. Very engaging and really sells the concept of survival

4. Narrative is up to the player/players

5. Replay and Death Cam are welcome editions

6. One of the best co-op games I've played - great for teamwork, requires focus and dedication

7. Challenges the player to consider strategy and skill, allows for growth and improvement.

All in all I can say I think this will one day be one of the best games out, but the current state leaves much to be desired. However I will recommend it to new players...

IGNORE ALL MY PREVIOUS COMMENTS - DON'T ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ BOTHER... PLAY QUAKE CHAMPIONS OR FORTNITE INSTEAD...

Possibly one of the best FPS mulitplayer arena games I've played in a very long time. Proving that skill remains the key ingredient to a successful competitve FPS but also an extremely fun experience. 8.5/10
