Probably the best RPG I've played since the Witcher 3. I can't recommend this game enough.

This was one of those games that I put off playing for the longest time. After beating it, I will say that I have no idea why. The story was very well written and the characters are the best I've seen in a GTA. Michael and Trevor do seem like they got more attention than Franklin, but by the end, I was a fan of all of them. The driving is as fun as ever and the gunfights are very nice with the first person mode. Love the radio and song selection. The voicework is SUPERB. I had a few graphical glitches here and there, but for the most part, it's a beautiful looking game. Of course it retains that classic Rockstar style of humor with more hits than misses. There are some missions that drag a little, but I think that's true of any GTA style game. The highs are much more common than any lows, and I fully recommend the single player game. I haven't touched the multiplayer, but I hear that it's a mess. Still worth buying, though.

A neat isometric RPG that has some faults, but is still very much worth playing. I loved the cyberpunk theme and there are a few interesting playstyles for you to choose from. The story overall is a little lacking, but I hear the two sequals improve on that... The gameplay is turnbased which may be a negative for some. I thought it added some great strategy to the fights. The interface is sleek, but a little too simple for my tastes. I'm a sucker for isometric RPGs so the artstyle was fine by me. The soundtrack is okay. Very dance, techno, futuristic. Anyone who is a fan of games like Fallout 1 and 2 or Baldur's Gate should give it a shot. If you don't like those types of games, you probably won't like this. I would recommend this only if you love classic style RPGs (which I do).

Bastion is a great little game with an amazing look and sound. You can beat it pretty quickly, but don't let that fool you. There is depth in the combat as you can choose different weapon combos and it's quite fun. The major standout is the soundtrack and voicework. Even after you play it, you will catch yourself humming the tunes of the game while you're out and about. The story was simple, yet very interesting to me. I was always left wanting to know more about this crazy world where everything was falling apart. A fantastic single-player experience that can be beat in a day or two.

This game is without a doubt in my mind the BEST RPG I have ever touched. The graphics are stunning. The sound design is breath taking. The story and choices you make... well, I've never played anything the comes CLOSE to how good it truly is. The one negative that I'll mention is that the combat may not be for everyone. However, if you have read the Witcher books or played either of the prequels, you should feel right at home. The open world is amazing and there never seems to be an end to the FANTASTIC quests that will just pop out of nowhere as you ride through towns. This game is the new standard for RPGs to strive to be. I cannot recommend it enough. Both expansions are great as well!

I played both the Witcher and the Witcher 2 in order to prepare for the Witcher 3. Although I personally enjoyed the first Witcher more than this game, I cannot deny that this has a LOT of improvements. First and foremost, the combat is completely redone (and much better). It does seem like the game is more difficult, but once you get the hang of it, it's really not so bad. The graphics are very nice, and I did enjoy the story, although I felt like the first Witcher game told a better tale. The Witcher 2 will take your saves from the first game and incorporate your choices into the game, which is a nice feature. I recommend this game, even if you skip the first one. It gives some nice background for the Witcher 3, which in my opinion, is one of the best games I ever played. A must for any diehard fans of fantasy RPGs.

This is a great RPG if you don't mind dated graphics and poor combat mechanics. The story is fantastic and I recommend that you read a couple of the Witcher novels before playing to get the full effect. I played through this game to work my way up to the Witcher 3 and I will say, although it does have some slow parts (the swamp), it is VERY worthwhile if you can get into it. After beating the entire trilogy, I have never felt the satisfaction and closure of such a great story before in my entire life. If you love fantasy RPGs and don't mind wonky combat, I say buy it and play the heck out of it.

The only game I've put in over 1000 hours into. And I STILL keep coming back... Great game.
