Sinning is breaking God's law, the 10 commandments. You sinned, and if you do not get saved, you will be guilty after death on judgment day and perish.
God sent his only begotten Son, Jesus Christ, the Lord and Saviour, who suffered and died for our sins on the cross and rose from the dead, so that if you believe on him, your sins are paid for through his blood, and you will not perish but have everlasting life in heaven.
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God; not of works, lest any man should boast."
