If you're still wondering if you should give it a try, then yes, you should.

Somehow it reminds me of Spiders' GreedFall, which I also enjoyed. The story didn't suck me in all that much, but it was pleasurable enough experience for me to stick with it to the end.

Will have to give this one a positive review but I'm not amazed by the Early Access development and the lack of late-game features and content. It's fun to start new playthroughs but it quickly gets stale once you set up your kingdom.

Unfortunately it was the biggest letdown of 2021 as far as gaming goes for me.

Main issues:
- the game has unbelievably little content (especially for an MMO and such a big company/budget), you keep fighting the same 10 enemies that aren't even reskinned, they just increase their stats and change the name. They also do not gain any new attacks as you "progress" through the zones
- character progression is very lackluster, past level ~10 you won't unlock any new abilities, and the ones won't change in any significant way other than gaining some miniscule passives such as 5% increased damage after you use some other skill
- partly due to the previous issue, the combat itself is boring, the skill rotations are boring and you never feel powerful with your character

that's more than enough for me to never play this again and I'm not even getting into the economy, PvP, bugs and glitches

Early Access Review
Tried it out and I think it has a lot of potential.

What I liked:
- you can really customize your character, your employee uniforms
- the recipe creation system seems promising!
- characters have some depth and their development seems nice
- you get attainable goals from the get go
- the tutorial introduces you pretty well into all the gameplay concepts

What I'd love to see:
- just creating my own restaurant from the ground up without the need to play story scenarios
- less UI stuff going on at the same time, everything here pings and alerts you a tad too often, I'd start off by removing the "ordered items delivered" notification or at least tone it down
- more depth to the recipe creation, I'd love to see a more prominent 3D model of the dish I designed, at the moment you can make a dish consisting of a chiken leg and some fries and select a clam as a visual representation of the dish
- more insight on how to solve problems, like I see that my employees hate working at the restaurant but I have no idea how to change that
- more insight on what makes more customers appear at the restaurant, what makes up the popularity rating, etc.

I got so invested in the story/terraforming project that I prefered to finish my run with Per Aspera than to check out the Cyberpunk, even though I've had it installed already.

It's a really interesting game, I enjoyed the slightly more macro resource & expansion management than the usual colony builder gameplay. The storyline and voice acting were pretty darn cool too.

As for the downsides - the end result of terraforming isn't as satisfying as I'd like it to be, which is something that you're working towards the whole game, so I'd love to see this game stage / planet look developed a bit more. But it's something that I was prepared for, as it'd be a tough task to fit that in with the rest of the game properly.

The graphics are pretty nice, especially when you zoom out a little. The first few bits of terraforming progression also look pretty cool. Unfortunately the music gets repetitive really quick.

TL;DR: i've had a blast with this game and was pleasantly surprised. Though if you're expecting a regular colony builder you might be disappointed.

PS. Don't build level 2/3 factories and mines in your new outsposts, you won't manage to get the base self-sustained before everything breaks down.

Early Access Review
While it lacks polish and more substance I really like the recent World Map update. It shows that the devs are going in the right direction and I'm condifent that with enough time they'll develop this into an awesome game.

I wouldn't recommend buying it as of now if you're looking for something that you'll be able to sink in for countless hours as there's not enough content and nuance in the gameplay yet. But there's a great idea behind this game and I'm sure that it'll turn into a quality experience during the Early Access.

Early Access Review
This is one of those rare Early Access cases where the game is actually fully playable, polished and not ridden with random bugs. I've actually played the demo before and I could continue my progress right away, the whole experience feels really thought out and honed.
Love the ironically depressing vibes, finally something fresh.

Anyways, if you like games such as Darkest Dungeon (but also card collecting games like Slay the Spire) but want to try something quicker / more 'casual', this is a great game for you. And it already feels like a finished product, I wonder how it'll play when it's fully released.

Edit:
Okay, went back to playing this. Finished it. God is this a beautiful game, nay, piece of art. The music, the direction, the dialogues, the voice acting, the lighting, everything.

There are a few drawbacks, like the controls which are not very intuitive or polished on mouse+keyboard, there are also some crashes and glitches left in the game but it's more than playable. They've managed to fix up the PC port.

I'd say it's a must play if you like wild west or good stories in general.

old review
Awful experience, the cutscenes and the game stutters as hell and I'm not even close to Ultra settings. Looks nice but it's completely unplayable. Can't recommend in the current state.

And some people said that the console players have done free testing for the PC users, yeah right xD

First Frontier Developments' game I've played and it's a blast. I can't get over how close you can zoom in on the animals and see all the fur and grass straws. Also watching the AI humans interact with the zoo you've created is an amazing experience. The building system is so exstensive that I've yet to fully grasp it, if I ever will.

To sum it all up: a pretty good game.
