Early Access Review
Good-looking roguelite with a bunch of interesting upgrades and a stable meta-progression that makes you want to keep playing!

Risk of Rain is one of the best 2d games out there. It's intense, with a never-ending onslaught of enemies. It's different every time you play, with 12 different characters and hundreds of items to increase the power of said characters. It's never stale, with many different artifacts that changes gameplay radically.

Can be played in singleplayer, but shines if played with friends!

Battlerite is an arena brawler, and a very good one at that. If you think you'd like fast-paced, round-based MOBA gameplay, I'd say try this out! It includes more than 20 characters, all with unique abilities, and several different so-called "battlerites" that change how those characters are played. There are no out of game bonuses and everything that's purchasable is purely cosmetic (except the characters themselves) so if you win or lose really depends on who can outplay their opponents.

Since I bought it way back in early access, I don't know how the progression system in the free-to-play release works, but since you get some characters for free, what's the harm in trying Battlerite out?

Although this was (according to me) the best Call of Duty in the series, Modern Warfare 2 is now 9 years old, and it's apparent in gameplay. I still start it up from time to time, but get tired of it fairly quickly. There are players in some playlists, but certainly not in all of them. If you manage to pick this up on a sale, you would probably enjoy it, but otherwise skip this! (There are rumours about an upcoming remaster of this game, so I would just wait for that instead of buying Modern Warfare 2 now.)¨

Disclaimer: Although steam says I've played 5 hours of this game, I have 250 hours in the Multiplayer-client. I have also 500+ hours on console.

Pretty fun, coming from someone who played all of the bigger MOBAs! A steeper learning curve than League of Legends or Heroes of the Storm, with a lot more nuance. If you decide to give it a try, don't lose hope after the first games because if you manage to power through them, preferably with friends, then you will have a really good time!

Pretentious Game is a small and cozy game about 4 people and their intertwined lives. Even though the people are represented as boxes, you still feel a connection to every single one and that amplifies the urge to continue to see what happens with the cubes.

Play this game! I mean, who can't spare 1.5h and a couple of dollars to experience this mini-adventure?

Imagine a game.

Imagine a game. A game you think is good. That game is probably the opposite of Spec Ops: The Line. Spec Ops has boring and bland gameplay, the enviroment isn't that good looking because it is just sand everywhere and the beginning of the story feels like you are about to throw your PC out the window. Ignore all that. Play through this game. I mean it.

Spec Ops is one of the few games that really spoke to me, but to be able to experience it to it's full extent you need to play through the whole game, preferably playing through the whole game at once. I really can't tell you why without spoiling the game itself, but I 100% recommend buying and playing through this hidden gem!
