awesome but the quit button is in the middle of the screen, so i accidentally clicked it and lost all the progress my friend and i did, change it so the spawn is there instead

insanely better than phasmophobia, has alot more items to play with, dying is a part of the game instead of just spectating, vr is not insanely broken (except for steam overlay which might just be an unity problem), instead of being scared of losing my items, im actually scared of the game itself!

im not even going to finish this.
its not a penumbra game, im not allowing this to be in the same good light overture is and the less than good light black plague is in.
its an annoying puzzle game thats just 100 bytes, way too short to be even considered a game to me, more of a demo.
this shouldnt be just mixed, it should be majority negative.

second game in and it already loses its steam, just from having to freeze down a thermostat with a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ cold soda made me realise they didnt just open the bottle that had lightning in it, they smashed it into the ground, grinded the glass with a mortar and pestle, and then snorted it while banging their head on the lid.
the most fun part was laughing at the umbilical cord being up the monsters butthole.

best in the series and only the truly good one, even if i was able to cheese through by killing the dogs i still got scared alot (♥♥♥♥ THE CEMENT MIXER IN THE TOOL SHED I ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GOT JUMPSCARED BY IT TWICE DUE TO PARANOIA) and the story during it was great, seeing red's ashes made me want to be able to get a trashbag from the hallway and keep it with me, it plays with your heart strings and then scares the ♥♥♥♥ out of you.

one of the, maybe even THE best VR game to come out, it changed alot, and did things that others couldnt/wouldnt do
it doesnt exactly have a story, but has one thatll atleast keep you invested til the end
the only problems is with some things being abit wonky, especially sharp objects that just feel dull due to no cuts
but i can say that itll live up to your expectations

i am disappointed, this feels more like a tech demo than ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ boneworks, you went backwards on this
swords still feel like blunt weapons due to not cuts
guns feel harder to aim now
climbing walls is better, but sometimes ♥♥♥♥♥ up
parts that has you change avatars in the "storymode" has terrible maps, the tall one i was stuck on before i refunded
textures are low res and models are either worse or completely different (my beautiful, mouth opening nullbody.. i.. im so sorry...)
very little in new weapons, ive seen atleast only 6 (not counting the new shotguns, which are also terrible to aim with)
fantasyland hunged models (which looks nice by the way, i like the sack) have only two races, black and white, and have no variations (scarred, marks, tattoos, etc)
has little story, i know the story in boneworks was already very vague but thats what made it good, seems like they didnt know what to do next
openxr, which steamvr does not use, which means you cannot look at steam overlay while playing it (most likely because of quest)
tutorial has been downgraded to just text on your controller, was especially unfun when trying to aim the glock, just for the text to get in the way of the glow sights
ford also looks less sexy as his boneworks counterpart, which is a SIN.

it seems like they cared more of making this game for modders instead of an actual game, cant say its worth 40 dollars

theres a good chunk of game and "story", but some of it is either complete ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ and will take you hours, and will then give you a good burnout for months. (if you have anger issues, refund the game for a new keyboard and mouse, maybe even a monitor)
theres enough stuff to keep you entertained for around maybe a week or two, then gets bland due to finding out something wont fall off because theres one 1x1 block, or falls very weirdly like its some feather. (example being trying to rip a door off a wall, but itll stay on there because the game doesnt know how to actually do it)
theres also an awesome glitch were if you spam enter too fast when starting up, all the sounds wont work

replaying this after not even touching it in 2014, what the hell happened?
it feels like theyve made it even HARDER to get what the ♥♥♥♥♥ happening in the game, it doesnt help that i basically lost my account.
dont even get me started on why everything looks so different. why is there weird 3d walls? it feels like the pixel art looks worse than before.
also seems that theyve gotten more into transactions, so thats nice, i guess.
maybe its because i havent played in years, but the old game was way better than whatever exalt is.

even as a free game i still feel robbed
walking sims can be nice and fun if you actually had something else with it
have the dude smoke a cigarette, look at his fingers, just ♥♥♥♥♥♥ something so i think less of having to backtrack slowly
