I haven't played in maybe a month or so and I come back, and like all my saves are gone except for like the 1st save before you meet the dog for the 1st time

I can't seem to turn the wheel right at the end of the chase, I turn it a little. It freezes and then I end up dying. I'm moving my mouse in circles but this game will not recognise it and as such I keep ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ dying. What am I doing wrong? edit : if anyone else sees this, hit the pillar lmao...

I just got to the second area with the explosives, barricaded the door as I thought I should with two barrels. Was peeking at the map on the table when it just exploded and scared the ♥♥♥♥ out of me, I assume the dog broke it but I decided to reload, how are you supposed to barricade it properly?...

I've found the puzzles to be much better. The story also becomes really weird towards the end of BP.
