Game is really good as a huge fan of kingdoms era, it’s nice to have a new style game in the era.

If you a fan of games like Titan quest and the like this is relatively similar in how it goes through progression etc.

You can use a spear sword or bow and they all have different skill trees, around level 30 you’ll unlock horse which has its own skill trees tied to sword spear and bow aswell, and the mount combat is just as fun and smooth,

The developers are updating constantly with text issues and bug fixing, I’ve not had any quest bugs or bugs in gameplay myself.

The game is story heavy as per normal for kingdom era games.

Don’t pursue Lu Bu

ts a isomertic mmo, the actual gameplay really isnt anything like diablo, most classes dont have cooldowns atleast not long ones either, like sorcer has like maybe 10 second cooldowns, but u can augment your meteror shower for arguement sake so u can cast it twice before cooldown, for instance my sorcer right now has a huge firewall that i cast twice before cooldown, have a 2 hit meteor shower thing, i have a massive crystal (looks snazy as hell too) that does a huge explosion after few seconds,

theres alot of different mechanics throughout the game the reward all sorts of playstles, u have the collector playstyle where theres hundreds of hidden seeds u can trade them for goodies, theres a huge adventure book for every area and then region that covers you doing things in each zone like collecting a trophy of a mob, or finding secrets etc, you get your own boat,

u have your own island you can build all kinds of things on ( sims anyone) u can also come friends with people by gifting them items and they will come to your island, u have a crew u can get that u can send on mission, theres a huge card system that u can collect, u have ones that just work soon as u get them that do passive bonuses, u then have ones that u have to slot in with a set and they give bonuses too,

alot of stuff is account wide not char wide so u dont feel ♥♥♥♥♥♥ doing a alt

at level 50 theres a quest u can get that will give u a pass to get a alt quicker through game


theres dungeons(solo or party) and chaos dungeons (solo or party) and abyss dungeons abyss are party ones, u have raids

theres a boss rush mode (solo or party)

theres a monster hunt type mode (solo or party)

theres a cube mode that has different tiers like chaos aswell and has different mechanics (solo or party

games running great for me had no crashes in the 3hours so far

but yea generally best settings is to not put clouds at ultra, its like fallout 4 with godrays setting, there isnt a huge difference between max setting and high but it can tank your framerate

the game does have a few settings that are bug but they have been ackowledged by devs, which is the framerate cap being buggy and the vynsc setting aswell. both these can easily be worked around at driver level though

hellbound is incredible really feels classicy doom with a blend of painkliller/serious sam (serious sam for the player taunting monsters and doing funny lines or such)

gunplay is really fluid, feels meaty/weightey on your shots/impact on monsters,

levels have had nice variety and a mix of key doors like old games of 90s, levels also have some nice secrets and other such things too.

all in all game has been well worth the money so far

played the game when it very first went up on battle.net. got pretty bored soon after finishing the campaign back then.

seems like theres a hell of alot more things to do now (and that isnt just because of expansions since either)

gunplay is very much top end on the scale for shooters and i highly recommend anyone who is on the fence to jump in

game is awesome fun highly recommend if you loved hexen and games of the like

game is pretty fun, has bullethell like mechanics where you can either dodge or use your sword to attempt to parry the bullets away, you can find runes as you progress that are active abilites like slow timea reflect bubble etc.

shout out too the devs aswell for replying quickly to an issue i had and fixing it

combat
straight out the bat the combat is far far more better than any previous warriors title, i cannot stress enough how greater the flow attacks into the stun launch n knockdowns, it works so well

the open world

it actually works really well, everything flows together, its nice have smaller battles with other officers in same timeline etc around on the map that couldnt be done in a single level on previous titles, it seems more immersive especially if you love china and the general underlying kingdoms etc.
the side missions are quite a nice extra and its nice heading to main missions and finding outposts and other camps around with officers needing help, or officers you may desire to kill,

i can see with more refinements the open world really making things much better than previous titles, an in some aspects for me it already has, its quite cool when there isnt actually huge mobs of monsters every second either, yes at times there is still quite big groups thats for sure, but i like the downtime aswell and when things need to its chaotic which i actually prefer because it makes the more important battles bigger and better and not just the same ♥♥♥♥ as the room down the road so to speak.

the clone stuff isnt actually as bad as whats proclaimed, its more so like unique movesets with heroes sharing same weapon, seems pretty dumb to have 93 unique weapons to be quite honest and in prior titles things did get somewhat silly with a boat and stuff lol, but overall this clone stuff is a minor concern at best and frankly i probs wont use all the heroes anyway, but the flow to combo attacks + musou makes things very much unique per hero.

im playing on pc i have a top range computer and im getting stable 60fps so for me everything is fine there, (although i understand the frustrations of there poor optimization for lower machines etc) my main actual gripe is the lack of aa on trees etc can really be off putting at times

the music is incredible very very much the ♥♥♥♥ :D

overall if you love the warriors series i say yes jump in the combat system is something of awesome for people who grew tiered of the same square traingle combos over and over and mostly using same combo cos it was best, i honestly hope this combat system is kept and maybe tweaked further in some aspects.

game is highly under rated, if this wasnt an mmo the game would be soo much more popular, its mostly instanced put per chapter theres an open zone where others roam aswell.

game offers 3 day premium for free and during campaign you unlock are further 6 days, in no way is premium required and i havent touched the cash shop in any form either,
