This game is practically flawless for the type of game it set out to be.

Every single enemy, bullet pattern, and even secret is so perfectly consistent and readable.
This is probably the most perfectly paced LoZ-style game I've ever played. Just look at the achievement completion rate on steam... 20% of players did the most difficult content and 22% saw the true ending. That's insane.

If you like bullet-hell style games, buying this should be a no-brainer.

What a fantastic little game. If you even kinda like JRPGs, do yourself a favor and buy this.
10ish hours of some of the best writing, characters, art, and music you could possibly ask for.

Intriguing and hilarious setting with some great pixel art and clever writing.

My only issue is that it quickly becomes way too easy to just murder everything and eat their flesh to heal up again, even taking mostly non-combat stats. This was on normal difficulty, so I might try Hard when I play more on full release.

I cannot stop playing this game.

Don't let what looks like a very complicated and weird idea scare you away. Watching gameplay makes the game seem way more difficult than it really is. The controls immediately feel great and the 'card system' quickly becomes something like second nature.

Story is over the top anime nonsense, but all the characters are so well voice acted that most of it is endearing instead of cringey.

Maybe the best early access launch of a survival game I've seen?

Combat is soooo soooo good
Progression feels well paced and isn't a huge grind
Exploration is a little lacking due to needing so many open places for one of 40 players to setup a base.

For the price, this game already has more than enough content and polish to justify playing. That this is just the start of their early access is very exciting.

PC performance could use some work, but still one of the best games I've ever played

Really fun story and characters, but gameplay feels very similar to Dishonored - just a bit more shallow.

Exploration and finding the secrets of each map were as good as ever, but without the usual consequences for 'going loud', the game ends up being very easy. Aside from the occasional PvP invasion, the biggest threats to my loop were gravity and the rare invisible wall.

Guns feel great, tons of maps and modes, and its free!

No longer recommending as the devs have decided that they want make everyone grind for no reason in a game with no live service aspirations or competitive elements.

Their first update came with nothing but nerfs to legendary drops and the most efficient builds. This game doesn't even have leaderboards. Let people have fun. What are you all even doing?
