There's nothing I can say that can convince you to buy this game that hasn't been said already, so instead I'll say: I guess furries aren't half bad.

This is RPG Maker for grown-ups who actually want to make good games with custom assets and lots of freedom of control.

TL;DR: Is this game still chock-full of minor bugs and some game-breaking bugs? Yes, but it's fun and maybe worth it.

- There's more oddities in this game than your average Bethesda game would have (NPC weirdness, objects shifting when you turn to look at them, etc.) and some big bugs that still have yet to be fixed apparently (You can lose your ability to scan/quick-hack which may force you to go back to a previous save, and another one is Rogue's questline is bugged at the end and requires a lot of finagling to try and get it to work. I just gave up on it eventually as it wasn't the ending I was going for anyways.)

+ However, the combat is incredibly fun, albeit a bit too easy as you level up (seriously, I don't know how you can die after halfway through the game except for getting sniped.) You definitely feel like an all-powerful god once your build gets going, but I'm totally in for that, especially since this game is pretty much a looter shooter more than an RPG.

~ The voice acting is insanely good-- Except for Johnny Silverhand (Keanu Reeves.) That man didn't even try, and it sucks every time his (major) character speaks, because it made me not give a ♥♥♥♥ about Johnny the entire game. V and the rest of the main cast are exceptional though. The ending is good, but leaves a lot of loose ends as sequel bait for sure.

+ Game looks incredible, and even on my medium-tier specs, I was able to enjoy a lot of it without any real hiccups. The world does feel pretty alive when you're moving around, and the sights to see are crazy good.

- A small gripe is that it feels like there's *too* many quest-givers. Every 5 seconds it seems like some random new side-character will call you and go "You don't know me, but I've heard of you, and I got a job for ya." Like, your quest log fills so fast from just leveling Street Cred or just running around to certain areas, it's a bit annoying.

~ Another issue I'd say is the lack of *wanting* to be in the world. Like, why would I bother going to another area of the city to buy a new apartment? I went back to V's apartment maybe twice by my own free will, because there was just no point with how much carrying capacity you're allowed. Same goes with buying the many vehicles available for purchase-- Who cares? You just drive from point A to point B in this game (because driving is atrociously bad.) It's a lot of fluff and not enough substance outside of story missions and side missions.

Overall, I'd give this game a 7/10, because it's carried by the combat, characters, and voice acting. The rest is very muddled and is either mid or bad. Hopefully when they release DLC for the game, they'll fix a lot of these issues, but after 2 years, not holding out hope.

Fun game, with nice gunplay and movement-- But there's a huge issue:

If somebody disconnects from the game before it starts (one, SINGLE person from either team) then you have to wait for the preparation phase countdown, then as soon as the game begins-- It kicks everyone out after 10 seconds.

Now this is obviously done to avoid unfair 5 v 6 and whatnot... But why not let players opt-in to join in-progress games missing people then? Or replace them with a bot? Literally anything is superior to f*cking wasting everybody's time.

You can go several games in a row and not get to play because one person disconnected beforehand. It's ridiculous.

Another note: The characters are unbalanced, but this is to be expected with any newly launched competitive game, so I won't hold it against them-- However, the characters that REQUIRE money are definitely stronger than the free characters.

This game is super unique and fun, but my god is it difficult. Trying to get a run you want(like a Bow build, a Cleaver build, or a Mage build) can often be impossible as it won't give you what you really need til it's too late. The loot tables are impossible to influence and there just isn't enough loot unless you boost your Luck enough.

Blinked and lost 11 hours of my life to this game the day I bought it... HELP.

Edit: This is STILL one of the best games of 2022. So much content.

Can't recommend right now, but I'm hoping the dev(s) go out of their way to fix it up so it can be played!

I just got off my first session of 9-10 hours, and I basically didn't want to stop. For an early access game, it's pretty incredible. It's a spectacle to behold, everything you see in this game looks insanely good, and while ship building needs a bit of work, mining and exploring is absolutely amazing.

Update: I am now about 50 hours in, still absolutely addicted.

Spookiest and funnest ghost game around. Alone it's scary, with friends it's very fun.

Buy it. Like, why wouldn't you tho.
