Extremely buggy. Sometimes cells in the bag stop accepting items, sometime sprites for multi use consumables disappear permanently, sometimes the game just locks you out from clicking anything in the game including items and buttons. From a guy who bought this 2022 after supporting it from itch.io trust me on this. Dont buy it. It's not worth 10$ for a dead game.

Backpack Hero is a roguelike with a fun concept, well-executed gameplay mechanics, and a solid heap of replayability.

I've heard some say the game feels a little repetitive, and it's true that early runs may feel very similar, but the variety of playable characters and the ability to expand your item pool from the town in-between runs results in greater replay value. The special challenges are also very fun and help mix things up in runs.

Game was better off before story mode and the devs abandoning the rest, but it's serviceable.
