There's a compelling story hidden behind all the absurdly obtuse triggers for the puzzles in this game. Just go read the book.

Buying this game has brought great dishonor to my family.

Good, but repetitive. I wouldnt pay more than $30 for this, and thats if your playing with friends. Farcry 5 (or 4 even,) are just straight up better games in every regard for the money.

if this game was on newgrounds 10 years ago it would have been pretty good! (not great)

The reason to play this game was for the multiplayer, which had an amazing competitive community. Unfortunently that community died out a few years ago. I played for years without touching the single player and when I did it was suprisingly bad. Still havnt finished it, most likely never will. Can't bring myself to give it a thumbs down, even though I know there's absolutely no reason to play it these days unless your an old school masocist.
