Do not buy this game in the current state. 9 minute helicopter flights to recover your gear after dying, and the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ servers disconnect as soon as you get there (Congrats, your $8,000 kit is gone). The AI is "smart" enough to aimbot your through walls, and kill you in one shot. Absolutely trash. The developers need to make major changes before this ♥♥♥♥♥♥ product is worth it.

Update: Days later and the issues still persist. Good thing these scumbags managed to add MTX though. We needed that over functionality.

Update: Uninstalled. Grinding for the sake of grinding. The two faction system causes you to either pick decent drops that you still need to grind for, or a trading faction. The inability to trade between factions makes grinding a task for nothing. There is absolutely no end game, and it is a soulless ripoff of Diablo and POE.

If you liked ASE, don't buy this piece of ♥♥♥♥. It's nothing more than a high end nostalgia grab. ♥♥♥♥ wildcard.

I have tons of hours on this game. It's a complete turd. You need a degree in astrophysics to even think to create a build. Terrible product. Just buy Diablo instead.

♥♥♥♥ this company. The product has gotten significantly worse over time. The new desert map? Trash. No cover. When I addressed the staff at blueballs, this is what I go as a reply: " I understand that you are concern about the new desert map with fewer areas to cover yourself. Please be informed that there are enough buildings in the map where you can hide. " That sounds like some excellent concern for user feedback.

The overall gameplay experience of Ark is interesting. It is an absolutely beautiful game visually. The problem is that the lovely game devs spend more time focusing on adding content (some of which is completely pointless - i.e. Sabertooth Salmon) and less time on actually improving the overall experience of the game. Extremely poorly optimized game. Completely ragemaking. Do not buy this product.
