Hands down the best game series i have ever played in my life. Been playing for nearly 60 hours and I am not even half way through Mass Effect 2 yet. I am that immersed in it all that is has practically taken over my life. I don't want it to ever end. Runs like a dream and there are hundreds of awesome mods.

The only thing i am surprised with is that it has taken me this long to play this absolutely phenomenal game. The most must have game I have ever come across.

If you like the first one, you will love this as it is even better. Runs like a dream and the devs are always on top of anything that needs patching which is very little to be fair. Top game at a very reasonable price.

You will be 'baked' and then there will be cake is bit of an understatement. Thankfully it is a frosty night and there is no heating on in here due to the utility companies needing to make 3 times more profit than usual probably to pay for new cooling systems for their GPU's if they are portal fans. House is getting warmer now anyway. :D

Developers should be forced to look at this game at conception so they have a better understanding of exactly how a game should be made. It ticks all boxes for me. So many games especially of this genre end up having very poorly thought out lethargic controls and camera and an engine graphical set up that ultimately leads to a non enjoyable and vomit inducing experience for many gamers, me included no matter how much you fruitlessly try and adjust things at your end.

None of that here i am glad to say.

Graphics - Absolutely stunning.
Controls - Simple, effective, smooth and perfect even on Keyboard and mouse.
Performance - Spot on and smooth as silk at max settings.
Gameplay - Excellent all round including story, voices and music.
Fun Factor - Cannot get enough of it and don't want it to end which says it all for me.

Kudos to the Devs for this outstanding game.

15 hours in and i have barely scratched the surface. Map is huge and jam packed with things to do. If you are like me and enjoy exploring every nook and cranny and collecting everything that is not nailed down, then this game is for you. It is like a mix between the original Rage, Far cry, Mad Max and Doom.

There are a few bugs including some audio glitches and a quite annoying crash when saving sometimes but they will undoubtedly be fixed soon enough. After playing around with my set up, a workaround for now is simply by setting the game executable to run as Administrator which has solved the crashes for now until the Devs release a permanent fix. It must be really tough for Devs these days creating a perfect game with there being so many different machines and set ups around. Graphics are very good and the performance has been very smooth with everything set to high and at 2560 x 1440 resolution.

Overall a very good and enjoyable game and definitely worth purchasing in my opinion.

I had been humming and harring about getting this game for quite some time and could never make my mind up whether to buy it or not. Have purchased far too many games that I ended up being disappointed in. Finally decided to take the plunge a little while back when it was on sale. The first couple of hours into the game I was still a bit undecided but kept persevering as there was something there. After another couple of hours i.e when the story started getting going properly and I was able to get better weapons and craft and earn skills etc man I became completely hooked.

I am now 57 hours into the main game and I am still only 50% through it which is absolutely amazing this day and age when some games only give you about 4 hours gameplay. Everything about this game is pure class from the story to the gameplay to the graphics to the performance and optimisation. Been a while since I played a game where I become so immersed that I often lose track of time and cannot stop playing. I just want more and more. Has to go down as one of my favourite games of the past few years. Sure there are some negatives as there always is but the positives outweigh them ten fold.

Definitely recommend this game and if you are unsure as I was, give the game a few hours before binning it as it just gets better the longer you play.

Beautiful, smooth, relaxing, simple and great controls, nice musical score and very very addictive.

Absolutely loving this game and it is probably the best of the series to date. 9 hours in and i have only done about 3 main missions and a couple of sides. I get in the game and within a few minutes i get completely side tracked exploring. There is just so much to do. Come across a nice lake and have to get the fishing rod out. Have a fly in a helicopter and cannot resist blowing things up and causing mayhem.

Money is easy to come by and you can get decent weapons and rides pretty much right from the start. Graphics are beautiful and an improvement from previous and performance has been excellent so far. Have everything set high and have not had any slow down and everything is smooth and fast including loading times. There are a few small glitches that need fixing but nothing that is game breaking for me and they are sure to be fixed in a patch at some point.

Big fan of the series but was initially a bit reluctant about buying this as i didn't think it was worth the high price, however i have no regrets at all now and i am glad i bought the Gold edition. Going to get many hours of enjoyment out of it and it is definitely worth it to me.

Dont usually do reviews for games but feel that this game has received far too many negative and unfair reviews (imo) which have resulted in making it harder for people to decide on whether to get the game. From what i have seen, a lot of the poor reviews are from people that are having problems due to their own computer issues and thus it is often easier to just blame the game. I struggle to see why fans of the Far Cry series would not like this game. It is stunning in every way.

I have played all of the Far Cry series and after playing just 2.9 hours of this one so far, i am completely blown away and addicted. Graphics are breathtaking and i have had no issues at all so far. Game is being played with all settings maxed out (Ultra) @ 1920x1200 and it is smooth as silk (i7 4790K @4GHz OC'd to 4.7, 16GB Memory, R9 390 @8Gb). In the 3 hours i have played, i still havent even hit 4% of the game yet. The map is massive and the beauty of it compels you to explore and take in the scenery and explore some more. Easier to give you an example of what i mean. I was wondering across the mountains and decided to find a nice spot and sit and wait for some birds to fly across with Bow and Arrows at the ready. To my left, a huge Elk came wandering by. Me being a bit itchy fingered i drew back the bow and fired an arrow into the Elk. Unsurprisingly it ran away and so i continued in wait to line a good shot up on some birds. 5 Minutes later, i received a pair of huge Elk Antlers up my back side. It had circled and flanked me and attacked me savagely. While i was trying to back away and react, a Wolf jumped on the Elk and tore it to shreds. I waited till the Elk was dead and then killed the wolf and skinned them both. Then i continued on with my bird hunt and eventually got a couple. At this rate i am going to have many hours of breathtaking fun. Money well spent and anyther great Far Cry game. Possibly even the best of the series.

That is what Far Cry Primal brings you. Unique experiences, beauty and complete freedom. Would definitely recommend. Abolutely love the game.
