Literally just yes. I hold the original Dead Space as the best horror game ever made. This is a complete masterpiece that is incredibly faithful to the original and also one of the best remakes I've ever seen. I'd even say it's better than the Resident Evil remakes, personally. It's EXTREMELY rare you find a game that's been made with this much love, and as far as I've seen, even the developers of the original Dead Space have been impressed by it.

This is one of the best games I've played of recent, and has been incredibly fun even in it's beta state. I genuinely enjoy and have fun playing this game, and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a cooperative game to play.

Do not buy this game, it is currently in an unplayable state. I had no issues when it originally launched, but every effort I've made to play in recent time has resulted in SEVERAL blue screens of my entire PC, and countless more crashes to desktop. Do not buy this. It will destroy your PC.

I had a lot of fun playing the game, and as much as I wanna recommend it, but it was literally impossible for me to complete it. I had rarely any issues with the game leading up to the final mission, Revenger's Tragedy, but the mission was so incredibly plagued with bugs that it was not possible to complete the game. I made 7 attempts at finishing the last mission, and each and every attempt was ended by a different bug in the final sequence of the mission. Other than that, the rest of the game was fairly smooth. But know you might not be able to complete the game if you do purchase it.

I'd say this is at least in the running for the best horror game ever made, if it isn't THE best. It's got a story and universe I find incredibly interesting with immersive gameplay and a bone chilling atmosphere/environment. It has it's flaws, primarily with this PC release, but I personally think anyone who hasn't experienced it and likes games of the horror genre should give it a try. As for the flaws? The biggest flaws this game has are mainly being due to it being a PC port of a game built for console. Trying to play the game with a mouse is incredibly painful at times, with incredibly low sensitivity and a 'mouse movement deadzone' that makes it so mouse movement doesn't register small movements of your mouse. However, there are ways to fix this through mods that are incredibly easy to install, and I didn't have any trouble finding them. Alternatively, you can play it with a controller, both solve that issue. It's an incredible experience I'd definitely recommend.

The first time I played it, I spawned in a police station with the alarm going off and died 20 seconds later. I've never been so immersed.

My empire got wiped out when an AI decided to open the L-Cluster that contained the crisis 60 years into my game. They, myself, and several other empires were promptly annihilated by a fleet that no one in the galaxy could even scratch. To top it off, the galactic senate made it their focus to institute a galactic recycling initiative rather than to react to the crisis. I rate it four spaghetti noodles out of five.
