It's not Elden Ring so turn away if that's what you are looking for.

Early Access Review
It's a little content-poor right now, but the game has good bones. The roadmap looks promising and I can't want till it's all implemented.

Ok, so the DoW excuse for the Gold Ingots is they just wouldn't be able to sustain the game if they sold it as a 1 time purchase. So if they are earning around 15 cents for each game played, why does the interface look straight out of the 90s? Digital board games have come a long way in 10 years, and Memoir 44 Online has not kept up, even with the pay-to-play model, which makes it 100x worse in my opinion.

(And by the way, the gold ingot exchange rate seems to be worse if you don't sign in with a DoW account and use a Steam account instead).

It could use a better onboarding experience, but once you read/watch a few guides, this is a great game.

Plays great and runs great. A few server issues at launch were to be expected, especially with it going F2P.

Pretty fun game if you want to feel like a space ninja. You get items sort of like in Diablo to enhance your weapons, so that adds to the fun.

I am by no means a fisherman and I think that lets me overlook some of the issues where VR doesn't match up with reality in this game. Apparently the way the rod is cast is not realistic, but I would have never known without reading a review. It's a lot of fun for me to just sit and listen to the wildlife while fishing. I did have to learn to tire the fish out instead of just relentlessly reeling in the line -- that usually ends with a broken line. Now I have a pretty high success rate with the starter fish.

I tried the Steam version first, but refunded it because of tracking issues, but it all seems to work a lot better with the Oculus store version. I am hoping they add more lakes and fish in the future. I am not sure how many missions are in your journal, but having a goal makes the game a lot more fun so I hope they add lots of those as well.

Early Access Review
Ok, so this game is VERY early access and the price is a bit steep, but developers have to eat, too. Overall, I would say it is worth it if you don't mind waiting on features (the developer seems pretty active) and if you enjoy flight/cockpit games in VR. It's not really a simmy game, I would compare the flight model to something like Ultrawings. It's super fun to do things like land at a crash site, pick up soldiers and drop them off at a hospital. Basically, if you want a military version of Ultrawings that is not yet complete and $30 won't cause you financial strain, then this game is for you.

This game is pretty good and has some slick production values, but it was really short. I beat it in an hour and 45 minutes and that includes a little while fooling around with settings to get the Oculus SDK version running correctly. The puzzles that are in there are good, but there's really only like 4 puzzles. A coded message puzzle, map/labyrinth puzzle, a spatial puzzle and a logic puzzle. I got it for 3 bucks bundled with episode 2, so it was worth it for me, but I'd say anything above $5-7 is a bit much.
