One of my favourite games ever. Played it in all of my spare time for over a week online when it was in alpha/beta, then bought it the day it came out on steam. The early early version was already addicting and now the new characters and gamemodes give it some replayability past trying every build type.

The only part of the game that really frustrates me is the spike enemies, especially when you're playing the robot character (CR-8) and can't really deviate from loop. I personally save-scummed to get out of the optional spike encounters when I played CR-8 and luckily didn't run into the spike boss.

These spike enemies make melee builds feel doomed if you get unlucky on mandatory enemies. This could probably be fixed by making spikes reduce by one every time they proc?

Curses haven't bothered me much as you can usually find an item that will destroy them for some benefit, and the downside of taking damage usually is less than they would do on a damage turn anyways.

Poison/burn are annoying, but are part of the challenge and can be countered with consumables (though especially on CR-8 it's hard to allocate space for a ton of consumables). I think a lot of the people complaining about these effects are probably using a lot of shields and armor, which I have hardly used.

Buy the game, It's good and is getting updated extremely frequently.

Developers plz add achievements and some type of permanent progression soon so i can spend 1000 hrs on this game, don't go down the binding of isaac path and lock a ton of existing items behind challenges though :)

-FPS locked at 60
-Frames drop often and harshly
-FOV is unchangeable and narrow, this is the only game that has ever made me nauseous (mostly during horse parkour on cliffs)
-Horse parkour is the worst movement in any game ever, torrent handles like he ate 200 lb of lead weights and is wearing rollerskates (especially when on a cliff face)
-Target lock rolls a dice every time you press it, it either makes you turn 180 (away from the enemy), targets a random enemy behind what you're trying to fight, or in extremely rare cases it actually targets what you want.
-Invisible walls, hidden ledges, random undifferentiated bloodstains (Rogier), and needing to exhaust dialogue fully then wait at a campfire 3 times to progress a quest lock most of the interesting story if you don't google them.
-In my first playthrough I didn't google anything. After beating the game and going back, it is insane how many times I had gotten stuck in a quest because I didn't talk to the NPC for a 5th time and wait at a campfire for them to disappear and reappear at the correct location.
-90% of arcane scaling weapons just don't scale, not fixed over a week after release
-Most bosses have one ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ move that you just have to hope they don't use or you lose the fight
-Armour sets (except helmets) don't have any special effects so they are functionally cosmetic as long as they're in your weight class.
-Multiplayer likes to kick you from invasions/co-op due to network errors
-The fire giant should not exist, google how to cheese it

But you're still gonna buy it because its ELDEN RING BAYBEE, you can't not get this game.

Definitely the most fun deck-building roguelike, very easy to accidentally play for hours.

It's roguelike Doom, in space, with the stanley parable narrator nagging you to finish his shopping list between ships. 10/10

Amazing game, but a little lacking in variety. By the time you finish the game (~3-4 hours, which I did in one sitting to give you an impression of how much I liked it) you've seen the same ~10 space ship layouts tens of times each. On top of that, each distinct enemy (of which there are something like 10, not including their variants) has only a handful of voicelines; this might be intentional so you can recognise who is around the corner, but its kinda soul draining to hear the same joke for the 100th time.
