At this point, I think it's less about paying for dlc, or supporting development, than it is tipping the developer. The world is already fully open to every player simply through the modding community, so then it isn't a matter about the expense. Just about everything is given just through mods. Sometimes this.. Ideology.. Backfires and causes some of us to look at the packages and say it's basically an overpriced mod. But fans like myself aren't paying for a mod or dlc. We're paying because we love what the developer gave us years ago, and that's before looking at anything new.

Emotional, I know, but half of this game can be mastered by simply HOLDING UP.

This game doesn't seem to have any replay value.

After how badly I felt about the base game, I struggled to pay even more for Stasis Interrupted. But I eventually went for it. As everyone said, it's what the regular game should have been, yet wasn't.

If you can get the full collection for less than 10 dollars, it is worth it just for the dlc.

It was a better campaign than Fireteam Elite, though I know that's not saying much...

Early Access Review
Um, I waited a few months to decide. Hated the way it looked.

But I can say with confidence after the first few hours you're absolutely going to love this one.

You can grind anything, and I do mean everything.

I truly feel like this game has taken what I really enjoyed about part one, threw it away, and started over. This game is brutal in it's difficulty early on and when I expected the scores for part 3 and saw the negative reviews for the same reason, even though the overall is a better score in total than 2 has, I knew it wasn't for me. The dev did say that the difficulty may come down again for Forever. I will look forward to trying this series again at that time. I just feel the "challenge" took the game way too far, and I don't understand why.

Some of us are patiently awaiting the next great scifi rpg, and on the way we might stumble into this encrusted gem. It has many of the stylings that might come along with a great game, but it is very unfriendly to the user. Very little is explained, and adds needless complexity. The game really should teach people how items stack, and how to use equipment. For example, the game doesn't seem to tell you that the refinery, after buying and equipping, could be used with number 1. There isn't any explanation of what is happening to the ore behind the scenes, either. It just happens. You can manually watch your inventory convert as the work is being done. These are things that I outgrew decades ago in gaming. It seems very disrespectful how little is explained about the mechanics to really be successful in this game.

A lot of games and movies are moving to a woke view of history and historical narrative. Paradox, too.

It gave me no quarter... but I vanquished the evil anyway.

An amazing game. Perfect grind.
