This mod improves gunplay and visual diversity without taking away from the original aesthetic.
This is the mod if you really want to experience the original game, but find the original game too stale and not intriguing enough in comparison to newer entries.

New weapon animations for most guns. You can see your legs when looking down. A magazine drops on the floor with a nice *THUMP* when you reload. Gauss Gun now displays your hand (Believe it or not!). You don't have to do a short-rest in order to reload the crossbow anymore. Satisfying gore! Head-bob and weapon-bob! Alternative weapon fire-modes!

This is just a fraction of what I experienced within 10 minutes of just looking for changes, a lot of which can be disabled in settings if you don't want first person legs for example.

This is what we want if mods were ever to be paid for Valve! 5 bucks easily.

It's a really good album with iconic songs, with some game included or whatever.

The AI in the remaster was either gutted or broken during the remaster.
Enemies now have instant reaction, aim-bot and can see you from across the entire map and through bushes.
If you're invisible, people will instantly start shooting you before you're fully de-cloaked, while in the original they would first gasp of this unnatural magic.

The game would otherwise have some quality of life changes worth playing over the original, somewhat poorly implemented tough...
They made you able to toggle on an option to make the suit powers work like they did in Crysis 2, like holding jump to jump high instead of having to change powers first, but unfortunately you're nerfing yourself if you enable it, as armour mode drains automatically in this mode but not in the original, you also don't run as fast as by the default setting if you enable it.

The AI is what kills it and buries it deep though, it's not playable in a fun state, at least not in comparison to the original.

This game is in an early access state, but is not displayed as one.

It's a game of the year, but it's also a console port.

Now, how does it run on my computer?

Expect about 40-74 fps, but mostly 60fps on lowest settings with:
Resolution: 1920 x 1080
GPU - GTX 1080 ROG STRIX OC
CPU - Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-8700K CPU @ 3.70GHz
RAM - 16.0 GB

That being said, let's talk about the politics...

It's minimal, you won't notice it unless you're looking for it and comparing it to the original.

Yes, and I don't think it will be on sale anytime soon.

I am somehow stuck in the steam review panel, I have called steam support but they only hang up on me, they tell me to use a mouse and press the back arrow, but I think it's too much to ask that I NEED to own one in order to use the service, especially since I've paid for items which I own on the platform.
