The old BBS will be shutting down. If you have an account there, please verify your status as an old account holder in the Ragnarok thread in the Migration forum that is now at the top of the old BBS's list. You will then be placed into the OG Crew group, which will exempt your posts from the moderation queue on the new forum, as well as provide you with profile flair that will announce to the world your original crew status.

Journalists looking for Groypers

There's a journalist that has been adding people from the group and attempting to ask them leading questions for a story for his publication.

Please do not talk to journalists and give these ratfuckers free content. At this point talking to journalists is like talking to the police. It will only hurt you.

I went to change the group name and URL but found out that Steam does not let you change group names at all. There also appears to be no way to set the member list private.

If you have any spicy imagery in your userpic or profile and want to avoid scrutiny, you can temporarily take it down. If you are contacted by a journalist, I advise you to block them immediately.

This anti-gamer sentiment among the media is contemptible. Now that our movie has finally come out in theaters, they are trying to come down hard on the gamer community. Stay safe out there, there's always journalists, financiers, tech executives, social media support teams, feminists, NGO employees, and mommy occupation government agents trying to get good gamers down.
