loading times problem

sometimes when i put an imput like "use > grenade" or a simple "Attack" sometimes when entering a fight, switching character whatever makes the game load it will take a while to finally be able to do something while everything keeps running fine (bgm, models animation) i just sit there till the game does what ever it was meant to do.

anyone else with that problem? or even better anyone with a solution? my laptop is an ASUS G73SW

I'm having the exact same issue. Especially with using granades and other moments like when a battle begins. Anyone have a fix because my PC is not struggling to run this game?

Same problem with my high-end PC. I've found alt-tabbing is an annoying, yet consistent workaround. Something about alt-tabbing reminds the game that it needs to play some animation or cutscene. Very frustrating.

Somethimes when I try to summon Ifrit I , Valefor is summoned by mistake.

I found that i have to press esc in combat and sometimes for cutscenes to load, if anyone has a solution it's annoying and makes the game unplayable also load times even on my ssd are a bit rubbish

I might try a recheck of the data in the steam options and do a compatibility for windows 7 perhaps

yeah i do the same for now... but is annoying

I move the installation folder of the game to my SSD and there is no change at all. I did as well a full check on the integrity of the files, nothing works. Same here, doing alt-tabbing/scape. THIS IS SO FRUSTRATING! ;'(

hmmm has been a looot of time since the last long time loading stuff... hmmm maybe its just the first time or probably because i put mid graphics not even noticed when it did stopped happening

No patches, but I've been working to fix thier performance bugs in my mod over time, so maybe that's what did it for you? They have a lot of problems that need fixing :-\
