Edwin, are there any plans to make multiplayer cross-platform in the future? None of my friends run Linux (mostly Windows, some Mac) so as long as multiplayer is tied to a specific platform it doesn't make much sense for me to buy the game, even though I would love to support your porting efforts.

without cross platform having it on mac is pointless.

This is the game I have been looking forward to the most, so thanks for the Linux port! :steamhappy:

Will the expansions get ported too?

Yes, you should have access on Linux and Mac as well as Windows. Have you restarted your Steam client, sometimes it might not pickup changes until you reboot.

Getting pretty low performance on the "auto-detect" settings. When in combat, I'm getting about 28-30 fps. I'm on a GTX 680

Same here, very low FPS, even when I set everything on low, beside that the game looks awful then, it has no impact on the performance. And my system is much better than the recommend system.

Linux Mint 17.2 x64
AMD FX-8350
Nvidia GTX 970
16GB Ram

I get around 20 - 30 FPS on lowest settings.

Here's a screenshot with FPS:

I would make sure you reboot after changing your settings to allow the engine to reset correctly. If you have issues please contact our support team with details of your hardware and settings tried using the information posted in the initial post and our team can investigate.

Yep, have send an email.

And yes, I've tried to restart the game and also reboot the system, without any difference.

Very interesting read, thanks for the link. I know enough about software developement that I think I understand the problem now, even though I'm not a developer myself.

Is there any way to get x86-32 version instead of x86-64 on the Linux platform?
