I can't mod on Euro Truck Sim 2

I decided to try and add some mods to my ETS 2. My ETS 2 is running 1.19.2.1 (32 bit) I went into the ETS 2 file and there was no mod folder. I created a new folder called mod and then put the mods into it. When I load the game and go into mod manager it says no mods detected. My PC has a 64 bit operating system but I don't know if it matters.

Hi , the mod folder is found under 'documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod'

If you have a 62bit OS then run the game in 64bit mode assuming you have over 3GBs of memory

I am on steam<
if i look for that folder,it doesnt show any mod folder in there>just all the add on dlc i bought on steam<
I made a new mod folder in there,and added the Jacky trailer mod in it,but it still doesnt show in the mod files in game.?
im lost i gues..

are the files 7z or scs? if 7z you need to unzip them first and put scs files in mod folder

I understand this,so yes i have winzip,,and have the folders >from the mod downloaded then unzipped> as now they are the >scs- files i need to copy in the Mod folder>But:In the path i read here, i cant find any folder that is named MOD folder just the scs files that already in the game>like the DLC content>But not 1 folder named>MOD is there to be found....so i have no idear where to add them in...

I don't think you're looking in the right place. The folder you need (in 'My Documents') won't have anything in there to do with DLC... what you should see are folders for you profile/screenshot/music and several config files.

Also, if you're running ETS2/Steam on a separate drive, the folder will be on that drive. My directory for example looks like 'D:\ETS2\Euro Truck Simulator 2'.

for me it is C:\Users\USERNAME\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2 .. if there is no mod folder just make one and put scs files into it then run game

Hello are you sure you looked in your documents, For example:"C:\Users\eireluke\Documents\Euro Truck Simulator 2\mod" is the location of my mod folder , Sounds like you are looking in the steam folder

so i checked again and followed your advice and YES!!
i found the folder< thanks all for the help out!

And i found my old mods aswell i took them out and installed the 3 jacky trailer and sofort mod in and i checked all works excellent and i love the new added trailers and cars ,i am a happy camper now thanks again*
