Minimaxer and Profit Hunter achievements with quick jobs?
Hi,
is it possible? I'm still waiting for these two achievements to unlock and I don't know, if I can do with quick job trucks. For example, achievement where you must drive 999km in every truck brands count only with your own trucks. So with these two I'm not sure. Thanks much and many happy kilometres :) Sry for English

The profit hunter achievement is rare anyways, I would very very much doubt that you'd ever find a job with the necessary requirements in quick jobs.

The minimaxer job however, can indeed be done with quick jobs, I did it using both.

You must own the truck and use it to drive 999km. Using quick jobs won't add to your mileage.

Quick jobs are what I used for the minimaxer achievement... found it came much easier this way. Just keep track of your mileage/XP as you go along... I wrote down the totals after each delivery to make sure I didn't overshoot the requirements.

For profit hunter I drove my own truck, as freight jobs typically offer up more money/XP over the quickies. A tip I'd offer for the latter is to buy a garage at one of the far ends of the map and take a job from within that city. You may have to sleep a couple times for a decent job to appear, but being at the edge of the map is almost a must (Aberdeen or Debrecen, for example). The DLC's will help your cause here (Going East is needed for Debrecen), and map mods are much more helpful. Also worth noting ferry and train rides do not count towards the 2200km/1367mi, so keep that in mind when picking a delivery.

And your English is fine... even better than most native-English speakers.

Thanks for answers guys. I found on some site, that Profit Hunter isn't possible to obtain using quick jobs as you mentioned. There is smaller profit than from the one you picked with own truck. But I didn't realized so now I know, that I must drive to some Scotish city and wait. And for Minimaxer, it's nice that it's possible with quick jobs because I don't use quick travel much and there isn't always suitable jobs. So now it could be easier. But now I realized that these two will not be the hardest. Aspects of professionalism would be. My best drivers are about 7.5 and this level have only 3 or 4 drivers. It will be loooooooooooong time until rest of my drivers achieve level to 10 :( I have lazy employeess :) Anyway thanks for answers again

P.S. My english is Google translator approved :D

I know this is an old thread, but it might help other players.

Since they expanded the map through DLCs, there are more deliveries that fit the Profit Hunter requirements. Even though it was still hard to find one, I just did a Quick Job from Bari (I) to Kristiansand (N) and the achievement popped up. It was around 2600km long (including 145km from the ferry, but this doesn't count for the achievement), and paid around €133,000.

To sum up, it is possible to get the Profit Hunter using Quick Jobs. It's hard to find, but it works for the achivement.

Happy trucking!
