SOLVED: Missing Master file
Problem solved, but feel free to look here for help.

people have had this issue all the time, and now I guess I am too.
So I got the missing master file message.
I looked up some stuff and got FNVedit.
I think I found the problem, but I'm not sure what to do.
Here the message I found in FNVedit:

[00:04] Background Loader: [Companion Core.esm] Loading file
[00:04] Background Loader: Fatal: <EOSError: System Error. Code: 2.
The system cannot find the file specified>
[00:06] Background Loader: finished

Unlike the past 3 problems, I have NO idea what it's about.

FallutNV.esm should always be the first file in your load order, since pretty much every other plugin depends on it. Any plugin that is a master of another must be loaded before that other plugin.

I know.
I'm wondering what I did to move it or something.

You must have moved it down by mistake. Just move it back up there. :)

Yeah, just checked FOMM. It's currently the 7th "mod" loaded.
Any idea how to get it back up there?

In what?

In FOMM. :)

That is FOMM's main function, to manage the order of plugins by dragging.

May I also recommend that you try out LOOT, it should get your load order sorted out quickly.

Trying change the load order in FOMM crashes it, and doesn't change anything.

Never mind, just worked, thanks bro

If you still have FNVEdit opened, then close it and try moving it again. Otherwise make sure that you're running the program as administrator.

Glad to hear it. :)
