I love the Book of Unwritten Tales, and I've played through the entire game years ago on desktop Linux, using the native release, which ran well for me. But it needs an update for the Steam Deck, and I've read more recent reports of other people having issues on desktop Linux as well. It seems to be choking on the display mode. Even when having the subtitles options enabled, the cinematics have no subtitles. This is a problem for deaf people and also for non-native English speakers (subtitles are very helpful in that case). Are you planning on an update to enable full subtitles?...

Hello everyone. I have some major issues with the game. First i had OpenAL32.dll problem but i got that solved. Finally after i got the game started, there is no sound at all. i put all sliders up for sound but there is none. when i try to launch the game and get into the first scene the game crashes after ivo gets into the screen. I have the same problem with critter chronicles. I tried various tipps from the discussion page but nothing helps. Any advice?...
