Find Obsidian
So I am having some problems finding obsidian at the moment, found a nice little metal spot but unfortunately there is no obsidian nearby. I am on an island and was planning on doing some diving for some oil but I was just wondering, should I be diving for obsidian as well or is that gonna be somewhere on land?

@cool Breeze There are two locations that I know of to get fairly decent amounts of obsidian. One is a cave where you get an artifact. Not a hugely dangerous cave but does have the normal cave dwellers in there. Its north west on mainland coast on the mountain base. go inland a bit from the swamp / snow zone. :) you can sometimes see it at dawn / dusk from ot to sea. I'll let you find it :)
Same goes for one of hte mountains in the desert. at the base is an oil vein and up a bit is some decent obsidian spawns. its the norther most desert mountain on the map. south side of it.

There are also about 6 nodes at the base of mount olympus just at the edge of the redwoods.
