I was thinking about requesting this, but I figured that a helmetless version would be easier. I was creating a companion mod for NV a couple months ago that would have relied on it so I got in contact with the author about using its assets. I never got a reply back, so I'm not sure if we'll ever be able to get permission for use of his assets.

I was referring to a mod that separated the helmet from the suit. I'm sure it could be done manually, but it would probably be easier for everyone involved to just port a pre-made one.
