Training troops?
Cut and dry here, how do i train my troops? I have 2 in the training skill yet my troops get no experience each night for camping. What am I doing wrong?

Training depends on your hero and companions hero levels. If say you are the only "hero" in your warband and your level is less than your units then any that are higher levels will gain zero exp from training. The level of the training skill only determines how much will be applied assuming the other conditions are met.

Will jsut add it is only "personal skill" where all NPC in group contribute (hence having it on multiple/all companions is real contribute to xp gains)

As explained your level is probably too low for your troops but it will flip quickly as you progress.

I should add that all my troops are peasant levy, I feel training rank 2 should be more than adequate to level them up.

Not necessarily as units are scaled higher in Brytenwalda (VC, and eventually AWOIAF).

If you talk with unit, you can ask "tell me more about yourself" to see unit details and stats.

For reference - right now in my group north peasantas are lvl7 and levy is even level 13.
