Also pay attention to your pathfinding skill, you might want to max it before going into those lands.
In this mod, cavalry parties will always be fast, and the rogue knights are the fastest so just avoid them until you have a decent army.
I've seen them as far north as north of the SaltPans and all around the Riverlands, the Reach and the Stormlands, and as far West as the Lannisters homelands around Lannisport, which is a huge chunk of territory that they cover. It has really impeded my trade for Iron, Salt, Wool and my hunting expeditions. Without that, I am only left with my fur trade. Which takes time to replenish and/or is a bit repetitive, would be nice to have access to more than just the north or the east if you got a ship, luckily finally got one the fastest ships to help by doing mostly coastal trade. But even Essos is plagued with the Exiled Knights which make it a hell hole to get around on land.
So it would be nice to have some alleviation from this nuisance. Also they feel so strong to fight against. It's taken me so long just to save up enough money to have enough men, but anything I get so far is just so inferior and cannot match them.
I like the idea of these robber knights and exiled knights in theory, but I feel they would need to have a slightly tuned down speed rating and even more diverse army compositions. They feel like they need to be balanced in my opinion, because in practice they don't really fit the game world like the rest of the roaming groups.
Is there anything I can do to change their speed rating to be inline and more realistic with everyone else in Westeros? The way they are now to me is not realistic to GoT or the Warband experience in Westeros that i'm seeking they are simply too fast.
Thanks.

When it comes to it being realistic in terms of heavy armoured knights being so fast in GoT. Well that is true in reality they wouldn't be. But they would know the area and terrains better, however, the game has no way of simulating those "real life strategies/knowledge" so the speed of the parties compesates because it makes it difficult for you to roam around without getting caught. (in reality of GoT you would be ambush when passing a narrowed path or would run into them and than they would chase with better knowledge of the area, etc, etc....)
But your point is valid, it might be a little to much, just communicate the problem with people in the server, and see if they are able to help or report it in the "suggestions" tab so it might be considered for future updates.
I hope I was of some help =)
you would think they would run away from the giant armies and other lords considering they're no different than the bandits and thieves... but the way pruduno designed them, they're nothing more than a personal tax collector that only targets you
LOL LOL LOL... illogical, secret is to travel light aka only bodyguards... or travel like a coward hiding from castle to castle farm to farm... or just pay the losers until you get over 100 army size
Just like equipped items slowing your unmounted progress on the battlefield, a heavily laden inventory will slow you down on the world map. You can mitigate this to some extent with horses/pack animals stashed in your inventory but you will need many of them to make notable differences (I normally run with 9-12 horses dependant on inventory size).
The inventory burden is made even worse when you have a low number of personnel within your group.
