Same with me, the reach troop cost is atrociously high. Im losing money every week even though I have 5 fiefs.

seems to be a feature to increase difficulty a bit. I managed to get a good income by playing a long while withaout army and doing lots of tournaments. With the money from the tournaments i bought productive enterprises until i had one in almost every town. That gives you a weekly income around 10-15k but it takes quite a while. If u don't want troops that cost no wages you can hire unsullied in the tavern in quarthigar, but they are not cheap.

That's a good strategy, I've thought of doing that before, Dyeworks are the most prosperous however not all cities have dyes and silk available. For the unsullied, how good are they?

if they would change that and fix the troop moral problems the mod would be awesome

Does anyone know whan the next patch is coming out?

There are some cities in which a tannery or ironwork will make more money. The unsullied use spear, shield, sword and throwing weapons, have very high weapon proficiencies but have not too high armor and are on foot. I think they are worth the money because getting other troops to max tier would cost at least the same and they cost no wages.

Troops losing morale if you don't rest enough can be turned off in the options, that are available in the camp menu. Simply turn off the point named something like "resting increases morale" and that should not bother you anymore.

The Veteran Unsullied are worth their weight in gold. They defeat everything when you use them in good numbers. I've did little tests with them, attacking everything from different forts, different units on the open battlefield and they always win, with few losses...as long as you back them up with a sizeable number of archers. They are worth it. I've now 1400+ of them.
Yes, the troop upgrade costs are beyond a joke on this mod, hence why I've now an army of Unsullied. They cost a lot to buy, but it's a single payment. Once you've the numbers you're hard to beat in battle, and you reap the fruits of this with towns, cities, and forts falling into your hands.

What would your recommend for a good archer unit with the unsullied?
Either longbow units or elite Nightwatch Rangers. They've heavy, long arrows too. It means they can take out anything.
Another handy unit of troops to recruit are the Ironborn. Their marauders are Huscarles with shields - and they also throw heavy axes. It means they can storm forts with few losses.
