If you're asking how to switch from one to two hands on a one/two handed weapon, the mechanics of the game do it automatically. You would be able to equip a shield, and use it on horseback effectively with one hand.

well, im using the valyrian sword you get from jon, with no shield, yet im only using it one handed.

i also noticed that about the valyrian sword that you can craft using Jon Snows valyrian steel, and for example if you get Blackfire, even if its a 1h weapon you can use it in 2h mode

I can say with certainty that this isnt a bug.. But it may have something to do with weapon proficiency? and strength? You characters may have a higher one handed or two handed, and that may affect how you hold the weapon.

so yeah, annoyingly enough, im getting two handed proficiency but the animation is one handed.

yep, i just double checked, it is done automatically for the bastard sword, but the valyrian blade only seems to use the one handed animation, does anyone else have this?

Yes, but that makes sense. The blade is lighter because of the metal

stil, i was looking forward to it being used as a bastard sword, with two handed swings while being held in one hand in a resting state. I think its a bug.
