Iron Bank

So I know you can borrow money from the Iron Bank but does anything actually happen if you don't pay it back? Do you lose reputation or something? I also think it'd be a huge payment if you could store money in there and get some interest. Mostly pointless otherwise.

You loose rep with Bravoos and each week you dont pay it doubles the amount you owed them
