Most recent crash was just before joining a battle. Generally randomly crashes in cities/castles.
The game was crash-free until around 100 days in.

I keep getting the run time error no matter what I do, load textures on demand is ticked on, upped all settings, it can be any where from 15 mins to 4 hours but at some point I know the run time error will pop up which is why I always allow the quit with out saving. When ever I enter or exit a town or castle specifically and some of the places when I go to essos specifically are bad. I change the 32x to 64x still nothing changed uninstalled and reinstalled warband and the mod as well. even tried the mod db version but nothing seems to work.

I kept getting the C++ runtime error pretty consistently throughout the entire game. In the early game I used to crash occasionally on the "See ships" or "Travel to other port" options as well as going to town streets. This was especially bad with larger cities such as king's landing. Occasionally I would have black/missing textures on certain things, usually buildings, banners both in battle and on the map, the map would glitch out and armor. Midgame the crashes in the ship menu decreased and became less of a problem. As the game progressed and around the time I got the Targaryen invasion the missing textures became much more common, pretty much happening every time in some form, be it on the map or in battle. At this point the textures appearing wouldn't really cause any crashes but it would crash eventually. My save game is currently at 864 days. When I go into battle there are MANY textures missing/black, usually weapons and occasionally the trees. After about 3 or 4 minutes of fighting I get the error. I tried reinstalling the runtime programme to no avail. I tried changing settings such as directx 9/7, loading textures on demand and all the other ones and the game still crashes during the battle.
I should also mention that I had gotten to day 1500+ in the vanilla game and none of this ever happened.

Bug: Runtime Error
Often after a (big) battle or when entering/leaving a town in any kingdoms
I just save my game now before I go to repair or buy ships. Maybe give us an option to just see text instead of ship visuals? (I know its not the best solution but its a temporary fix)
Heres what Im running:
GeForce GTX 1070 (newest drivers)
Intel i8700 CPU @ 3.20GHz
16 GB Ram
1920 x 1080. 60 Hz
Also get the odd crash during battles, doesnt really seem to matter the size of the battle.
Cheers man!!
Oh and if youre looking for more music to add to the game - Lucas King has some great Game of Thrones covers that you could probably add without worry of copyright stuff :))))
Disable the visual effects for entering towns. That helped me. Maybe try windowed mode as well?
Our rigs are almost identical (other than youve one upped me with your video card ya jerk! XD
