Throughout the communist countries of southeast Asia during the 1970s, most had their soldiers wearing Mao caps. A Mao cap is a soft, flat-topped cap with a small visor. (Wikipedia) It was made famous from its use by Vladimir Lenin, Chairman Mao Zedong, and the Khmer Rouge.
These hats were used extensively throughout the Indochinese wars by the PLA and the Khmer Rouge during the 1970s and 1980s. These hats are vital for an 1970s Asian faction (1979 PLA or Khmer Rouge); however, no mod maker has yet to make a Mao cap. If anyone has the skill to make one, can you please do it? Thank you!
